I've been surrounded with sports my whole life. I like college ball and pro football but NBA basketball was my first love and it's what I'm most passionate about. I joined Bleacher Report as a way to improve my writing skills and try and become a better sports journalist.

Basketball has always been big in my life from day one and always will be.

Michael Wilbon, Stephen A. Smith, J.A. Adande, Marc Stein, Scoop Jackson, Chris Broussard, Chris Sheridan, and Ric Bucher are a few of my favorite ESPN analysts and writers.

Okay, so I promised myself I was not going to push anymore articles this week, unless they were my own. However, my friend Leroy Watson decided to publish a master piece. In a week were so many deserving writers got recognized...this is truly the icing on the cake.
