NBA Power Rankings: Orlando Jumps While Portland Falls
11/23/2009
My name is Curtis Finchum, I am a student at Oklahoma State University and I am proud to be Cowboy. I played half a season of college basketball before serious injury caused me to end my career early. I enjoy basketball both at the collegiate and professional level and I love music as well.
1. Orlando Vince Carter has struggled the past two games, going for a combined 19-53, though he did hit a game winner against Boston. But Van Gundy doesn't need to worry, his defense has finally started to improve holding teams to just 91...
Weeden looked great but I can't figure why it took so long for coach Gundy to put him in the game. It is good to have...
Senior Night, the one game of the year where all eyes are on a group of young men, not the whole team, but just a small group of men, who started off as boys...
It does, but I have to admit, it's hard to statistically make a case for sexton right now, especially with the massive stats other LB's in the big 12 are putting up right now. I love sexton, and agree that he is the best player on this board, but I'm not sure he makes first team All Big 12, because Jesse Smith has been putting out 11 tackles a game (hard to argue) Von miller leads the league in sacks/tackles for loss out of the position, and Sean Weatherspoon does everything and is a rare talent on a shaudy defense.
Im not trying to discredit what youve said, but asking if you think its fair that those three guys merit a first team slot above him due to being their defense's lone talent and posting unprecedented stats.
By the way, I currently see both cox and lavine as big 12 first teamers. Both are as reliable as great defenders come and are posting the great numbers to boot.
Thanks for everything!

Curtis, I was at the game in Stillwater and hoped to see my Dawgs play a much better game than they did. OSU is to be congratulated on a well earned victory. They are an excellent team - as I already knew.
The fans of OSU are the class act of CFB. They are the best of the best. My boy's and I had such a great time before the game talking with them and came away as fans of OSU fans. Even during the game they were nice to be around. Great people!
Congrats on the win.

Over the past five years, the Celtics had opportunities to acquire some of the game's best young superstars. Find out who they are in this slideshow and please tell me what you think.
