Jordan 's Bio

I developed a non - biased opinion by attending Arizona State University for my undergrad. While I was there I witnessed some of the most inconsistent sports play one may see in an entire life span. I have a love/hate relationship with my Sun Devils but live for west coast sports in general.

  1. Hello Jordan, here is the follow up article on George Martin. I would appreciate it if you would take a look at it and leave your support in the comment area. Feel free to pass it around. Thanks!

  2. Jordan-

Tahnks for commenting on my "College Basketball Power Rankings." I'll be honest, Duke has had some ugly losses this year (namely that Clemson game), but did you see them Sunday night against Wake Forest?

Eliot Williams went into the starting line-up and their on the ball pressure D was just outstanding, maybe the best defensive performance I've seen from a team all season. Wake- which is obviously a very good team- didn't know what hit them. Yes they came back and cut the lead down to single digits, but Duke showed up ready to play and proved when they're focused can beat most teams in the country.

I know they have little down low, but they're guards are so good it almost doesn't matter. Yes in the long run it will probably keep them from winning a National Championship, but you have to admit if things break the right way they could easily make the Final Four. Scheyer, Henderson and Singler would be major contributors if not stars for any team in the sport. And I ask you, who ranked below Duke (with the exception of Clemson) can you definitively say would beat Duke?

Either way, I appreciate the insight and keep checking back as I will be doing a lot more college basketball writing as we get closer to the NCAA Tournament. Also please feel free to check out my website www.aarontorres-sports.com where all of my work has been posted.

Take care and enjoy Scottsdale, I'm going out to Tempe Friday and am desperately looking forward to it.
