I owe my love of sports to growing up in a typical Boston home, where how our sports team performed dictated the mood and environment of the night. Along with running my own site (the link below), I've become the Boston Bruins blogger for HockeyIndependent.com, CrashTheCrease.com and love writing for BleacherReport as a Boston Sports writer. I'm attending Middlesex Community College in the fall with a concentration in Communications.

Hey Ty,
I'm writing articles on the MLB 9s and thought you'd be interested in the Boston Red Sox piece.

Let me know what you think.
Cheers,

Just a note to let you know that I am leaving Bleacher Report.
For the first year or so it was a rewarding experience, but as of late it appears that volume (ie: hit revenue) should out weigh quality of writing on his site.
Recently I have cut back on contributing and focused on my own blog, at www.yathehabsrule.com , as I noticed the ranking formats, etc. seemed to be in disarray. One by one, quality writers have walked away.
The recent blatant plagiarism by a certain NHL writer has finally let the bubble burst.
I' d like to thank you for following me on B/R and hope that you will continue to follow me as I have joined www.fanhuddle.com/montrealcanadiens , a site that has just two writers to a team.
You can also follow me on Twitter @ http://www.twitter.com/yathehabsrule or email me: kevin@yathehabsrule.com
Thank-you

Hi Ty-
I am beginning a very exciting adventure, and looking for support from the B/R community. Beginning this September I will visit every pro sports stadium in the span of one calendar year- becoming the first person to ever accomplish the feat. If you would be willing to contribute to the fund so I can accomplish this goal, or even to pass along to others who may be interested, I would be greatly indebted to you. Let me know if you would like more information. Thanks

Hey I wrote an article about my take on the Erin Andrews video scandal. Take a look when you get a minute. Thanks.

Hi, Ty; I just edited your article on Theo's worst deals. It was a great article which I enjoyed reading, but I suspect you wrote it fast. Don't put apostrophes into your plurals. (The plural of strikeout is not strikeout's, it's strikeouts.) There were a couple of other places where the syntax needed a little help. On the substance of the article, I think you nailed it.
Hey Ty, Go Bruins!
The stupidity of the fan system on B/R has become ridiculous.
