Hey,

My Name is Avi Scher, I live in Jerusalem, Israel. I was born in Canada and moved to Phoenix when I was 2.
My father was the director of a large youth center which had a basketball court where the Phoenix Suns used to practice. This was in the 70's. I use to hang out at the gym all the time and see the Suns practice. I was very young (years 2 to 8), but I remember throwing a football around with rookie of the year Alvin Adams.
We moved to Israel when I was 8 (1981), and I got to see the Suns (and Sixers) when they came to Israel for a game, they also had a dunking contest where Larry Nace, and Darryl Dawkins put on a show (Dawkins cracked the back board).
I have always followed up on the Suns and 2 years ago when a visited Phoenix a good friend took me to a game at we sat first row, It was against Sacramento, Nash had 20 assists, It's was a day I will never forget.
I love playing all sports, B-Ball is number one for me. I also love talking about sports and sharing my opinions and hear others, so feel free to talk to me.
