  4. Hey Scott, sorry I've been a little busy with work and didn't get a chance to respond to your post about the Cavs until now. To answer your question, I have no idea what the Cavs will do either. I think if we can get past the Wizards - who will be at full strength - then there's a good chance we can make it back to the Finals. Of course we'd have to get by the Celtics, but something tells me that this playoffs is going to be either boom or bust this year for the Cavs.

About your article, when you post it, just go ahead and tag it with Beyond the Bleachers. One of the things we were trying to do before the draft was get a few interviews or player profiles in there so I'm interested to read what these guys are all about.

  5. Wash U is treating me pretty well. Yeah, our volleyball and basketball teams are pretty solid for D-III. I can't believe they both won the national championships this year. So what do you think about the Cavs in the playoffs this year?

  6. Hey Scott, thanks for the add as favorite writer and vote for pick of the day. It was much appreciated. Go Cleveland sports!

  7. Well first of all I live in Chicago so thats why I like the Sox, Bulls, and Blackhawks. I like the Buffalo Bills because when I was a little fella (This was during the 4 straight superbowl times) my aunt gave me a full jersey suit thing. Complete with a helmet, shoulder pads, jersey etc. And I asked my dad, "Dad who is this team?" and he said, "it's the Bills." So ever since then I have loved the Bills. West Virginia Football because well I don't really know why. But I have liked them for about 5 years. And Duke pretty much because I jumped on the bandwagon back in 2000. So there ya have it. lol thanks for asking!

  8. Well you have one good favorite team.. duke.
oh and by the way Go White Sox.

  9. Haha, touche, my friend. At least we agree on Ohio State and Duke.

  10. Hey Scott, enjoyed your article and thought I'd introduce myself as a fellow Cleveland fan from Columbus.
I am a big Tribe fan and am the Cleveland Indians Community Leader here on Bleacher Report. If you need any help on anything let me know, and keep up the good work!

I also used to work in an NCAA Athletic Dept at Wright State. I was an assistant to the Promotions director, but always was intrigued by the Sports Information Dept. If I could go back and redo things, I wish I would have followed a sports management type of degree. Anyway, gotta run...

  11. Thanks for the add!

  12. Thanks for the comment, Scott. And yeah, when the Sox were not scoring and Mike MacDougal was giving up 5 runs every time he came in, I had to think back to 2005 and remember that a lot of franchises have it worse than I did.

Although, if you check out my predictions this year, I have the Indians pegged to win the World Series. Sorry for the kiss of death.

  13. That would be great. My email is rvedder@mihomes.com. Thanks!

  14. Cheers, fellow Duke fan! Even if you did go to Cap (OC alum here), haha!

  15. Hey man, enjoyed your college hoops analysis so far.
