Brett Favre's quarterback record of 253 straight regular-season starts. While Ripken's 2,632 consecutive games are impressive he never played in negative temperatures, had to resurrect a franchise, or get hit in the mouth while trying to throw to first.
Ruth or Mays?
How many times did Mays hit more home runs than an entire team? My answer is Ruth.
Unitas or Montana?
Montana. He played in an already established league whereas Unitas' NFL needed to boost it's ratings to make it exciting for the audience and intentionally placed the best atheletes on offense to increase scoring. Not as much competition for Johnny U.
Pele or Maradona?
I've never been a fan of the material girl, so I'm going to have to go with Pete, whoever Pete is.
