Mike's Bio

I have spent the first 35 years of my life rabidly following sports and even working for several years in the sports marketing industry which, if nothing else, lent me a little bit in the way of team impartiality.
I have a true passion for college sports, particularly the gridiron, and still have season tickets for my beloved Boston College Eagles, despite their BCS shortcomings.
I am equally obsessed with the NFL, am perpetually depressed about the Knicks, and love EPL soccer which I started following to fill the void just before the NHL officially died.
A native New Yorker, I support the Yankees and both hate and understand the arrogance of the fanbase - a little dichotomy never hurt anyone...

If you want to check out a little bit more about me, my thoughts on sports, or the occasional random movie review, feel free to head over to my blog: http://mikeblewittsports.wordpress.com

Thanks for reading and drop me a comment whenever you like.

  1. Ironically enough, I was stealing baseball cards. I got caught just the one time, but unfortunately about 70 percent of my baseball card collection is hot.

  2. I put up two new articles... Would appreciate the read and feedback. Thanks

  3. Thanks for signing up as a fan, Mike!

  4. Thanks for adding me your favourite-writers list, Mike. Much appreciated.

  5. What up everyone? I wrote an article about the changes here on B/R over the last couple of months, and about some of the things that we used to have, that we don't anymore. If you could, check it out.

As I have said in the past, many times, I am not on here for AOTD votes, but I believe that if enough of you give me your AOTD vote, then maybe the higher ups will bring back some of the things that are gone.

Thanks a bunch, I really appreciate it.

    Nick

  6. Did you get a chance to figure out the em—dash?

  7. Mike, if you go to the style guide or any other article where you see an em dash, you can just highlight it, right click, and copy it. Then every time you need to insert one you just have to paste the one you copied in that spot. Hopefully that helps you... If you need help with anything else feel free to ask me, I will do my best to help you out.

  8. Hey Mike, how's it going? I wrote a preview on the Cowboys-Giants game, and would appreciate the feedback.
