I've been a WWE/WWF fan since 1990, when i remember seeing The Undertaker debut at Survivor Series, and have since watched sporadically over the years.

Hello Mark. Thanks for the praise on my Post-WrestleMania Raw article. Thanks for your support.
Thanks for the props on the Raw ratings article, Mark, much appreciated!
I think many old school fans were pleased with Kane getting his mask back, i was, it was about time to be honest because his 'unmasked' persona had run as far as it could have, when he returned with the mask it could of been handled alot better, if JR had been on commentary it would have been epic instead we got Michael Cole saying 'Oh my god Kane's returned'....yawn! then all that embrace the hate stuff with Cena was pretty cool aswell, but overall i've enjoyed seeing him back with the mask because the mask IS Kane. as for the welding mask lol well, i'm not sure what to say really! haha, i thought it looked like that mask the alien wore in the film Predator.
Barrett's promos were epic! Love the whole bare knuckle fighting vibe and the 'open for business' tag line. What's your take on masked Kane? I was very excited when the promos ran for that and he was sporting the mask again. Not too sure about the welding mask though lol!
As a big fan of Sheamus I can't comment on whether or not he is more skilled than Barrett :) But I do get your point- I feel the two of them are very closely linked in terms of skill set, perhaps it's just that Sheamus has a more memorable gimmick/look?
I have enjoyed Sheamus more as a heel than a face. I think his face persona is forgettable...or perhaps now I am a little more wordly I just like cheering for the bad guy? Who knows!
I think that if heel Sheamus has been pushed then why shouldn't Barrett? He makes for a great baddy- but I would like to see him win cleanly more, show the world that he is powerful or over-agressive rather than cowardly. If Barrett were to turn face he'd need a really good reason to do that, an epic feud with a bigger evil perhaps?
As for the tag teams, I only hope there will be more of a focus on the division again now that Team Hell No have made people want to watch tag team wrestling again.
Hi Mark, I have always been a big Barrett fan as I started re-watching WWE around the time of the Nexus invasion and was impressed by the whole affair. I think he has a ton of potential but as of yet we have not seen him prevail. I like his heel angle and his new look (the beard really adds something!) and I'd love to see him with the WHC soon- but reports on here are conflicting as to whether that will happen anytime soon. But then there's no use complaining about it- I will just wait and see!
I like Damien Sandow's character but can't say that I've seen him wrestle much. He has a very convincing way of speaking in a lot of the backstage portions of the shows which I find refreshing- I've always preferred wrestlers who can talk well backstage and try to show some sort of realism in their speech. It's a shame the tag-team with Cody Rhodes has already broken down as I was hoping to see more great tag team wrestling this year...I feel with Team Hell No's imminent split we will be left with...well...not many great tag teams AGAIN. A real shame especially since that used to be the highlight of my viewing during the Attitude Era!
I'd like to see both pushed this year. Whether it will happen or not is another story!
Thanks for the props on the ADR vs. Sheamus article. Thoughtful comment as well.
Hi, Mark! More than anything, it was for the nostalgia factor. At the beginning of this year, for whatever reason, I found myself searching for old wrestling clips from back when I was a major fan in the late 90's and the year 2000. I just kind of wondered what (if anything) had changed since I stopped watching. Also, I'm kind of hoping that I'll get back my warm feelings for the sport. Though I hadn't been a regular viewer for about two years, when Chris Benoit died in '07, it really changed my view of professional wrestling. I began to wonder if all wrestlers were just steroid jacked monsters capable of snapping at any moment. I'm starting to realize now that they're just regular people who experience hardships. But so far, I've enjoyed what I've seen over the last several months. I don't know how I feel about Raw being 3 hours long though lol.
Thanks for liking my article, Mark!
