Bryan's Bio

Bryan is part of the Bleacher Report team here in San Francisco.

He helped start the site along with the two Dave's and Zander, and has been very impressed with how many amazing contributors have come on board ever since.

Unlike the other guys, Bryan focuses more on the technology and product side, so he may not be involved in as many comment-stream debates. But he will be the guy answering any technical support issues, which is just as cool!

Besides starting websites, Bryan's hobbies include writing fiction that nobody else is allowed to read, trying to create mashups using his DJ software, buffing up his knowledge of world history, and making improvements to the new home he just bought.

Bryan's greatest contribution to Bleacher Report was the name of the site itself. He submitted it as his nomination, and faced stiff competition from his exchange brother Yoshi's suggested name, "Super Fan Opinion Talk Site to Honor Your Resolute Ancestors . com"

"Bleacher Report" won by a single vote, 109 - 108.

The Short List facts and information about Bryan Goldberg

Favorite Sports Teams

Sharks, Niners, A's.

All Time Sports Moment

I don't really like Boston. I don't really like the Red Sox. I don't really like Boston Red Sox fans. But I have to give credit where it's due, and those guys are amazingly loyal (and knowledgable) baseball fanatics. My hat went off to them when they won each of their last two championships.

Most Memorable Game Attended

I attended the 2002 World Cup match between England and Brazil, the latter of whom went on to win the tournament. In my opinion, that particular World Cup team was the greatest of the last thirty years. Seeing Ronaldo and Ronaldinho, two of the five best soccer players of my lifetime, lined up next to eachother in their primes... nothing like it. Was also great to see Beckham play in the biggest match of his career.

Most Unbreakable Sports Record

Nobody will ever break the Oakland Athletics' 20-game win streak. They did not win the World Series that year, unfortunately, but they did set a mark that will outlive us all.

bleacher report is now truly a passion and i want to thank you and zander and you guys for creating it. i hope you receive as much success with the site as i have entertainment from it.

and by the way, bleacher report is much better than yoshi's pick. i don't care how the voting turned out.

    thanks again!

  2. Thanks Bryan..
Its a lot better but not as easy as it used to be when the play-by-play was right there on the side of the screen. Thats what I was hoping you would bring back, but for now this is all good...
