Cargal is a former news and sports journalist with four newspapers in North Texas, founder of the original PigskinPrep.com and HuddleUpTexas.com. He is an avid follower of the Pittsburgh Steelers, TCU football and, thus, the NFL and NCAA football. Instead of just watching the game, he attempts to understand the game by learning its intricacies -- such as the salary cap, conference affiliations and finances. He follows football from the high school level, in fact, with extensive experience in covering Texas high school football.
