  1. Hey,

Usain Bolt has left the world speechless again, but how does his Berlin performance compare to that of Jesse Owens 73 years earlier? Have a look, comment, and rate if you have the time!

    Thanks!

  2. Hi Mick,

Hope all is well with you buddy,

As you should know by now, I am a massive fan of your opinion and your work, I think you are going to be one of the best Liverpool writers around, which is why I want to recruit you to my website before you become massive.

Your not expected to churn out a ton of work, just contribute whenever you can, you can just blog your opinion or provide proper article based journalism.

I honestly consider you and David Gore to be the two very best writers here on the Liverpool commuinity on b/r and to have you contribute to my site would be a fantastic coup.

I sincerly hope you consider this offer, even if you only give us an article a fortnight, that would still be a valuable positive for the site.

As you can see its still in its very early stages, but I believe a few of us can make something of the website, Im aiming to promote it as a website centered around a handful of elite liverpool journalists and hopefully thats where we can differ from the rest slightly.

Let me know what you think buddy, and I complety understand if you dont have the time, or feel its worth you contributing to the site.

    Jamie

  3. Are you about Mick?

Theres something i want to ask you mate,

    Jamie

  4. I agree. Money has corrupted and is corrupting the game to the point where it's almost a business first, and a game second.

I still believe in the purity of the game though. The emotions and stories that football can conjure is something that money can never erase. It will continue to reward the big clubs and corrupt money-seeking players, but like I said, for me, it's what happens on the pitch that really matters.

That's why I've long since abandoned following the majority of football stories away from the pitch i.e transfer rumours etc. I only pay attention when something's confirmed. I'm a purist, really. I feel like I know and understand what happens on the pitch. The politics outside of it—I don't even want to understand it. You know what I mean?

  5. The money and business side of it all is peripheral, to be honest. What happens on the pitch is what matters above all to me. The football that is played, and the quality of it. I wouldn't give it up just because of the politics mate.

I rate Johnson. He's a good defender technically. Should be achieving more. Needs to shine at a big club.

Be funny to see how he reacts when Ronaldo does move.

Would love to watch a game with you and Jamie one day. Are you in the UK?

  6. Thanks for the link.

    You keeping ok?

  7. Hey Mick,

Mind me asking you where you are from? Just seen that your into Irish sport.

    All the best,

    Keith

  8. No, no, that didn't even cross my mind!

He's a ronaldo lover who tries to annoy everybody. I ignore him mostly - sometimes it's fun to just ridicule him though, it's so easy. But generally I'd ignore him if I were you. He regularly gets banned too, so his comments disappear eventually.

I just wrote a mega long reply to you. Sorry.

  9. Ola mate ,

    How are you ?

You seemed to stopped writing because I am expecting a great piece from your side :) ...

Do post a note please if you publish it ...

    REGARDS

    AVR

YNWA ... You will never write alone :) ....

  10. Hey Mick. My first article in a month. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/148196-ronaldo-chokes-yet-again-are-we-surprised

And it's my first on Ronaldo.

I'm very interested to see what you think.
