About

Hey sport's fans!
I'm a 22 year old graduate from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a degree in Communication.

I have over four years of professional writing, my last two-plus years invested into UMass sport beat writing for the Massachusetts Daily Collegian. I also have experience covering professional teams (New England Patriots).
Along with getting involved with the Bleecher Report's Writing Internship beginning later this May, I'm also a regular contributor to Sportsnet's Fan Fuel blog.

Reach me at scournoy@student.umass.edu or follow me on Twitter @MDC_Cournoyer!

Although watching football on Sundays ranks as my initial exposure to sports at age 7, my passion as always been for baseball. It's the first sport I played (age 8) and began to fully understand on a broad level.

When someone writes about the Jets in a negative way, I like to see who writes these articles, and in this instance, a biased Patriots fan wrote this article. You have little credibility and your intentions are just to make the Jets (a rival hated team of yours) look dismal. Until I see an article about the Patriots loudmouths, I will not think otherwise.
