Michael Cohen is a freelance writer, radio host and producer. He is currently the club journalist of the Newark Bears baseball team.
Michael is a the host/producer of his own online radio show, "Open Mike" which is live every Wednesday at 7pm from Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. The show is broadcast live on MTRmedia.com! Michael got into the radio business in 2011, after attending the Connecticut School of Broadcasting in New Jersey. He interned at Sirius XM for the NFL Department before moving on to the Bears. Cohen is founder of his own sports blog: Cohen's Corner Sports that grew from his weekly NFL column in the Ramapo News. People may log onto his blog at http://cohenscornersports.blogspot.com. Michael also developed his own website, NYNJSports.com, which serves as an online magazine with editorials and soon to be feature stories on local products.
Since 2008 Michael has served as a freelance writer for The County Seat based in Hackensack, New Jersey, where he covered Bergen County events both political and social as well as sporting news. He still contributes regularly to the bi-weekly publication.

Michael is a graduate of Ramapo College of New Jersey with an honors degree in political science. Sports reporter for the Ramapo News from the day he arrived at RCNJ in September of 2004, he moved up to Managing Sports Editor in the fall of 2006 and served in that position until his graduation in 2008.
