Justin's Bio
Born in Kansas City but raised in Atlanta, I'm a first year graduate student in Slavic and East European Studies at The Ohio State University who hopes to work in either business or government service after receiving the MA. I speak Russian on an advanced level and Georgian on an elementary level and plan to start Czech next academic year, so for those Russian readers out there who would like to discuss hockey with me in their native tongue, давай поболтаем о хоккее по-русски. I'm little more than a huge hockey fan with an opinion. NHL teams that are constantly on my radar are the Toronto Maple Leafs, Columbus Blue Jackets and Atlanta Thrashers and I am also a supporter of the CCHA's Ohio State Buckeyes. I figured it's only fitting that I cover the Blue Jackets for Bleacher Report because I have easy access to them and Nationwide Arena is within 10 minutes of my apartment.

Justin, excellent work on the Rick Nash piece. I have to say that this kid has what it takes—I've seen him since Jr. Hockey and I was completley enthralled with the skill set he brings to the game. Your defense of him in your first article was just and well-founded, mixed in with the right amount of opinion. Great Job!
