Me too. In my opinion Minnesota needs a youthful change. Now I'm sure Pitino is very professional but maybe he has a little rah- rah in him. Will Minnesota recruit another player for next season in your opinion?
Richard Pitino loses a scholarship for Gophers mens team in Alvin Ellis (decommit). How much does that hurt Minnesota? Are there any guys that may impact the team next season? How about are there any FIU guys worthy of making the trip to B1G country? I am excited about the hire. Teague knows how to find the high character guys who want to coach. I know he fired a high character guy in Tubby but maybe just maybe Tubby was getting a little lazy/boring with his basketball team.
Not sure how much you care about the Gopher football program but im excited about Jerry Kill and what he did this year getting players to flip and finding players who want to play with Minnesota. Thats the most important part in my opinion to turning around the program. Getting players to commit to working hard and buying into systems. Then you couple that with a 4 star recruit for 2014. Experts have labeled it as a ho-hum signing day. I don't believe that. I believe he has players coming in who will compete and that translates into wins and better recruits going forward. Thoughts?
