Jon Mancini commented on What to Watch for This MLS Weekend:
Diego Fagundez could definitely blossom into one of the best players in the MLS. The kid gets better and better with every game!
Jon has yet to fill out a bio.
Well my happy days were over quick after Porto won the league because of them shipping off my favourite player Moutinho, and James. I feel like Kelvin can take James spot easily and we also have Iturbe, Moutinho will be a lot harder the only replacements they have is Castro who doesnt even have close to the talent Moutinho has IMO and Sergio Oliveira who i think can take his spot in 2-3 seasons. Who do you think Porto will bring in to replace him.
Vitor is also rumoured to head off to Everton i also want to get your opinion on who you think can take over. Personally i would love for them to steal Fonseca away from Pacos
Should Bento get fired, who would you rather see at the helm of the Portuguese setup?
Yeah, that is very impressive! Thanks for feedback.
I can tell you specialize in Portuguese football. I want to talk national team. I think Paulo Bento is a bit stubborn. He keeps playing a formation that obviously doesn't suit the team. He keeps calling up players such as Bruno Alves and Hugo Almeida (Alves is decent but not pacey, Almeida is...well...you know...terrible at shooting). I think that he could use some advice from others. He simply won't change. I think he is not being put under pressure due to his performances at the Euros. However, if he keeps it up I think #BentoOut should trend lol.
Nice to talk to someone about Portuguese football, not many available on this website. :)
I meant our struggles arrived once he left
Twellman deserved to win an MLS Cup and to go to the World Cup, our struggles left once he left the team
Don't even watch the patriots its like $200. I live about 2 hours away but I have still managed to see them, I saw the 0-0 draw vs Sporting KC and I've also been to the 2007 MLS Cup Final at RFK. Tickets are only like $20.
I am hoping for a playoff run, and it is definitely possible. Our attack is looking much better.
Have you seen the MLS power rankings for Week 12? Its Ridiculous! And do you remember Taylor Twellman as a player? An absolute legend!
nice. what are your thoughts on andre gomes? how good a "playmaker" is he? could he be a world-class player when he reaches his prime? has he been linked with any bigger clubs?
Yes, a great result and I hope we can repeat that vs Toronto. Will you be going to the game? And have you gone to any this year?
The Revs, ever since that 4-1 loss vs New York (ironic), they have been becoming more and more entertaining to watch, and we finally have the best defence in the league. I knew Fagundez starting was a stroke of genius by Heaps. I still wish Imbongo could have at least got a shot off in that chance in the 3rd minute vs Houston (no doubt our best performance, and AWAY from Guilette Stadium.
Do you think we can go for a playoff run? I miss those days.
Hey! Great Performance! We utterly dominated them and deserve the victory this was a great win! But why was Imbongo sent off? Diego's goal was fantastic though!
do you actually think bruma will be as good as ronaldo? i don't think so.
i saw some video clips of him, and he didn't exactly seem like a prodigy to me, put it that way. However hearing many of the positive remarks about him, and seeing his relative unpredictability on the ball, i think he will be a very good player in the future! who do you think he will sign for then? should man united have a good think about getting him by any chance????
