Hey,

I'm Mark and i'm an MMA Fan from the UK and have been a fan since i got my hands on a tape of UFC1 many years ago. only in the last 3 or 4 years has MMA broke into the imagination of the uk and although now a recognised and mainstream sport here, it has had a tough time on occasion.
my goal is to write articles from a UK point of view as the vast majority of posters appear to be from the USA.
As for my Background in MMA, I come from a traditional fighting town in the Noth East of England called Middlesbrough and above all i am a fan although i do train MMA and Kickboxing now and previous to this as a junior did some boxing for SBBC.

I hope you enjoy what i have to write and look forward to any comments...good or bad.
