Jethro, thanks for contributing to my discussions on the Patriots.
another good win and nothing to be critical of today besides one pass play. like how they are using donta on blitz more and more. like what ive seen from chandler using an inside move a little more.
sorry for spelling
hey i think were being to critical which is not bad but in this situation i find a lot of people are doing it to much. i mean we showed mental toughness today and thats what matter even wilfork was impressed with the db even though they had a couple of bad calls so that goes a long way with me. no game is ever perfect but when we have to make plays that count we did and thats what we have been lacking. look at the seattle game if we made an interception on that throw poeple would still sya they gave up a lot yards but they made the play when it counted. as long as we do good on third downs and are not giving up td i dont care how many yards they give up. we all redzone defense is what matters.
great win today. love how we played. used a lot of zone but thats all good. now everything should be shifting in our favor as well as the weather. the chase for the playoff begins
great win today after we beat the rams the real season begins our as i call it the chase to the playoffs now gets underway
where do you think that he needs to improve from what you seen
well i believe that jones well be better then jpp and suggs and has much more upside because he plays the run so well. Now give another year and he bulks up to say 275 and he is only playing at 260 i believe tackles are going to be in trouble because his bull rush will be more effective the it is now. i also think he is way more athletic then the other two because he can drop back in coverage somewhat. His pass rush moves are dangerous i mean his inside out is just like the inside out in basketball where you just freeze your defender or tackle for this matter becuase they have to respect the inside and the outside deadly move. once he adds more moves man watch out. have you noticed when jones does not engage with the tackled he beats them everytime because his hand are so fast. once he adds weight he can use the rip and pull but for now he should just use his hand because they are to fast for tackles
while im guessing imma speaking more on third down then anything. i believe we should rush three drop everybody else back. our problems have to do with coverage. but when we face good teams with good qbs then eveything else goes out the window becuase we have to apply pressure like we did to denver more times then not. As far as jones how high do you think his upside is and where would you say he needs to work
i mean have you seen marcus froston clips dude is beast
