Wilt Chamberlain is the G.O.A.T. This article pretty much sums it up: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1217186-nba-the-case-for-wilt-chamberlain-as-the-best-ever
Muhummad Ali is the greatest athlete ever. Of all sports.
Do you consider Emmitt a top 5 RB? Just overall greatness
Depends on how you define A top RB
I consider Bo Sayers Top 5 if we're just talking about Talent or Impact
Usually it's a mix of Talent and Stats when making a top whatever list so it's completely subjective.
I was originally gonna say no but after looking over his stats again I have to say yes. Probably over Earl Campbell.
He didn't have an enormous "Wow" prime like Dickerson or Campbell or Davis or OJ, but he was so good over such an unrealistic amount of time for a running back he has to be #5 For a good time in the 90's people thought of him as Sanders equal, better even, but Emmitt just slightly declined as he got older as Barry Sanders got better. That's why I think Barrys the GOAT and getting better over time is what will someday make AD the GOAT of the whole NFL not just among Backs.
I've always said longevity over flash
Wait what was the question?.. Damn I type a lot
Jim Brown. Emmitt was Great but there's like an unspoken rule that no matter the order: Jim, Walter, and Barry are the three greatest then there's a huge gap. I know in like 3 or 4 seasons Adrian will be in the group.
All time leading Rusher
All time leading scorer
most thousand yard seasons
3 World titles
Yet no one who knows what they're talking about consideres him the Goat
That's why Football will always be better than Basketball in my opinion
No BS. Outside of quarterbacks legacies arn't measured by Rings or even stats it's measured by Talent, perseverance, and Impact.
Jamaal Lewis is a 2,000 yard rusher and has 10,000 yards in his career But he's not making the Hall of Fame.
Adrian Peterson has near 9,000 yards rushing and if he retired today he would be a lock for the Hall
Sorry for rambling I get like this when I down expressos at work.
Kinda feel bad for Toby
He actually good enough to be a starter
I think the The Vikings are the only team to have two Heisman runner up running backs on the same roster
Anyways.. Bosh made some real clutch plays last night but he's been frustrating to say the least, how do you think he'll do game 7?
No but there r a few reason why I'm going for the Spurs.
1. Obviously I want Manu and Timmy to go out with a title. (nobody cares about Tmac)
2. I don't like the Heat
3. I'm an OKC fan and I cannot bear to see Miami win another title
4. And I want the NBA title to be won by a Western Conference team
Lol not really. R u?
Nice to finally have you as a fan!
That was just a list of superlative titles it was temporary. I like Running backs way more than any other position
And I think you know who the third Running back is..
bleacher report can't lose you samir!
