Do you consider Emmitt a top 5 RB? Just overall greatness

Depends on how you define A top RB

I consider Bo Sayers Top 5 if we're just talking about Talent or Impact

Usually it's a mix of Talent and Stats when making a top whatever list so it's completely subjective.

I was originally gonna say no but after looking over his stats again I have to say yes. Probably over Earl Campbell.

He didn't have an enormous "Wow" prime like Dickerson or Campbell or Davis or OJ, but he was so good over such an unrealistic amount of time for a running back he has to be #5 For a good time in the 90's people thought of him as Sanders equal, better even, but Emmitt just slightly declined as he got older as Barry Sanders got better. That's why I think Barrys the GOAT and getting better over time is what will someday make AD the GOAT of the whole NFL not just among Backs.

Jim Brown. Emmitt was Great but there's like an unspoken rule that no matter the order: Jim, Walter, and Barry are the three greatest then there's a huge gap. I know in like 3 or 4 seasons Adrian will be in the group.

Yet no one who knows what they're talking about consideres him the Goat

Jamaal Lewis is a 2,000 yard rusher and has 10,000 yards in his career But he's not making the Hall of Fame.

Adrian Peterson has near 9,000 yards rushing and if he retired today he would be a lock for the Hall
