I have been a certified athletic trainer since 1999, and have worked in high school athletics, rehabilitation clinic, and college athletics settings. I have a MS in Biomechanics from the University of Kentucky. In high school, I won a writing contest for HS students sponsored by the Charlotte Hornets, the Rock Hill Herald, and the Charlotte Observer. I was then hired by the Herald as a Stringer, and covered several sports events. I had six articles published in the newspaper before leaving for college to study athletic training.
