Irving Marino commented on Best Gameplay Changes in FIFA 14:
Other Things FIFA 14 should have Add the Argentina and Turkish leagues Include all teams that have qualified for the 2013-14 UCL group stages (the exception...
Remembering the days when I was a boy. Laying down on my bed, with my dad sitting next to me. Telling me stories of the 1970s. The 70s, possibly the greatest era of Peruvian Futbol. He told me stories of El Nene Teofilo Cubillas, how he was one of the best the world had ever seen. Telling me how his thunderous free kick that gave Per u its 1st world cup win since the 30s, sent the entire nation into euphoria. Telling me of "El Capitan de America" Hector Chumpitaz, bruising every player that stood in his way. Telling to opposition to dare to come at him. I still await the day, where I can tell my own kids stories about Peru. But what is there to tell? 32 years of Failure? 32 years of false hope? 32 years Developing some of the best players in this world, and yet, we cannot reach the World Cup? 32 years of losses that hurt our hearts? 32 years of wins that never mattered? One day I hope I can tell my kids, The speed and technique of Jefferson "La Foquita" Farfan toying with other players. The stamina and courage of Juan "El Loco" Vargas, tirelessly running up and down the pitch. The spectacular saves of Raul "Superman" Fernandez. The strength and heart of Jose Paolo "El Depredador" Guerrero, The vision and intelligence of Rinaldo Cruzado, The imitating Alberto "El Mudo" Rodriguez and then, Our captain, Claudio "El Bombadero de los Andes" Pizarro. One day I hope. One Day.
Very cool bio.
Mate at this point I don't care about the 20M penalty. Let's fire Mourinho right now. Let Karanka fill in for the rest of the season.
Pizzaro's performance today was one of the best in his Bayern career! Schewinstiger type vision and midfield cutting passes and deadly finishing, rolling back the years. I have a very bad feeling though Gomez will start vs Barca.
Hi Irving,
To be honest, I haven't watched too many Benfica B games this season. When I have, Ascues has looked solid, but I haven't seen enough of him to really judge his quality/potential. I do know that Benfica B's defense has been terrible in the Portuguese second division, but I'm not sure if Ascues' form has anything to do with it.
At the moment, he is not ready to represent Benfica's first team.
Hope that helped!
Hi Irving! Thanks for the tip. I actually hadn't heard that he was linked with Atleti so I'll check him out. I honestly don't know enough about him to give you a fair assessment. I'll reach out to Jon the Portuguese football fan and see what he thinks. Hope it's a great, cheap deal!
Thanks for your message. Irven Avila definitely deserved a mention, there are a lot of people who've been bringing him up on various posts for many months now. As for Guerrero/Pato, definitely Guerrero better right now, but Pato is ahead on talent which put him so high up the list.
I'm sure they will. Peru is cropping up some raw talent in the recent years. It's like both Colombia and Peru is going to be the next big thing in South America.
Pizarro is turning back the years, man!
I feel secure with Ramos in the centre half. As for Essien, They say further tests will be conducted tomorrow, I hope in the name of all that's holy, it's not too bad and he can play in the CDR final and UCL semis.
Can we terminate Arbeloa's contract? Is that feasible in football, Or can we sell him at a discount!...Jesus, the guy is so bad..
