Walter is a lifetime Laker fan. He is also very involved in USC football and San Diego Charger football. Walter is a professional musician with a BM, MM, and DMA (almost) in Jazz Studies. He is a senior assistant with the USC Trojan Marching Band (5 years) and the lead trumpet player and a staff arranger for the LA Laker house band (5 years).

Walter is an avid sports enthusiast and serves as the head coach and defensive coordinator for a club football team. He plays tennis and golf frequently as well as pick-up team sports.
