Is C. DeGetmon really 100 years old? He could be! C. DeGetmon is a fictional character, though like all fictional characters they must implicitly be created out of the writer's awareness, which is in all cases inherently theirs, even if they do imagine they channel ghosts, are prescient, or think they have ESP or whatever anyone imagines they can do to get out of their bodies. So C. DeGetmon is also me. I think of Chris' actions on message boards as literary sketches since they are all written events, or in other words literary events. Since I have yet to make Chris into an action cartoon he remains a literary event character, though I must say that message boards do bear some resemblance to action games with cartoon like icons moving as if in a cartoon like environment.
