    ok, so exactly what would you like from me? Please keep in mine that I compete in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and have a kickboxing background. I am not (as of yet) an MMA fighter.

    Sure, I'd love to discuss MMA as a subculture in a little bit more depth, but I'm not sure if any of your professors would put much stock in the opinion of an internet writer, at least as far as empirical evidence is concerned. However, an undergrad degree in English lit and being halfway to an MFA in writing should at least be able to give you at least a few salvageable complete (maybe) sentences if you are interested.
