About

My name is Pedro and I love sports.

I am the sports editor of the Palm Beach State College newspaper, The Beachcomber, and The Boca Raton Tribune, a community newspaper located in Boca Raton.

I write about the Miami Heat for my website www.crankuptheheat.com. I've been covering the Heat since 2007.

Also, I am the beat writer for the Fort Lauderdale Strikers, a soccer team located in Fort Lauderdale that is part of the NASL (North American Soccer League). I also have a website devoted only to soccer called www.90minutesstrong.com.

In the future, I plan on working as a beat writer for an NBA team, or be a sportscaster at ESPN. I have already has some experience on the field, I was an intern with ESPN Radio 760 in West Palm Beach where I had the honor to work with greats such as Evan Cohen, Ken LaVicka, John Martin and others.
