I have been involved in sports my entire life, from hockey to football and everywhere in between. You name it, I've probably played it at some point.
After graduating high school in 2008, I went to Hastings College and earned my Bachelor’s degree with honors in Media Production with an emphasis in broadcasting and a minor in coaching.
In my young journalism career, I have commentated national football broadcasts, won collegiate media awards, written for four professional newspapers, been published by the United States Hockey League and that’s just the start.
I played football and baseball in college, earning academic All-American honors. Sports have been and always will be an important part of my life.
My family is the most important thing in my life hands down. There is nothing more gratifying than making my parents proud. The Bleacher Report is the newest step in that continual goal.
"Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are."
Why don't you write an article on East vs. West. Which is best. That will get lots of comments. The West coast teams get no respect espically from NBCSN who picks their three stars of the night before the second period of the west coast games. Example. Last week #1 Star 1 goal 1 assist. Ducks goalie had a 29 save shutout. HUH!!!
