I am an intern for Bleacher Report, and I absolutely love it here. I am a journalism "super" senior at the University of Florida, and I am proud to say I was privileged enough to be attending the school when we won two basketball championships and a football championship within two years. Go Gators! I am a south Florida girl, and my favorite professional teams are the Florida Marlins and the Miami Dolphins. Even though I am mainly a fan of the previously mentioned teams, I am always interested in what other Florida teams are doing. My favorite sport is baseball. There's nothing better than going to baseball games during the summer. I'm also a sucker for a great sports rivalry.

For me, the 1997 and 2003 Marlins' World Series wins and the three championships the Gators won in 2006 and 2007 (and the crazy celebrations afterward).

Most Memorable Game Attended

Probably when I went to see the Marlins play the Braves and paid for three tickets using mostly pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters. The game went for 14 or 15 innings. We had no money and my brother and his friend were asking fans for their leftover food. The Marlins ended up winning, so it was all worth it. Definitely memorable, for really strange reasons, but memorable nonetheless. Oh, and also, when the Gators beat the Seminoles in 2007. It was my first UF/FSU football game and it rocked.

Hey, thanks for the edits! I changed the at-bats back to their original 1/9 format, as the "1 for 9" you had would require me to write out "one" and "nine," which wouldn't seem to look good. Otherwise, I kept everything else. Thanks!

Thank you Vanessa. I def like that you broke up the paragraphs a bit. I think it flows better now. These are the first things I have written in twenty-five years so I am rusty. My other articles were more of a blow by blow description. I decided not to take notes while watching the game and be concise on purpose. I am glad you said you liked that because it encourages me to go in that direction and add more opinion to my stuff. Thanks again I appreciate your time and input.

Thanks for your editing on my "Dont Bite the Hand that Feeds" piece. You really helped the article, especially by breaking up the article. I am having some technical trouble with your website, in which I cannot seem to consistently edit my own work or post new pieces. It seems like the headline for my article that you edited lost the word "from" and now reads "...Peter Angelos Must Regain Trust Orioles Fans." I can't seem to access editing, so could you perhaps change the headline?

St. Aug restaurants to consider: 1.) Harry's--yes, they have one in G-ville, but this one is right across from the bay; 2.) Columbia; 3.) A1A; 4.) The Reef; 5.) La Pentola (Italian); 6.) Cafe 11 (great breakfast spot but also has excellent dinner and music); 7.) Beach Comber (for a casual meal--right on the beach); 8.) Flavor's Eatery (for lunch).

After dinner, head to Kilwin's or Savannah Sweets for dessert, and then to Sangria's (upstairs, great view of downtown area) for drinks.

Good music at The Milltop and Cafe Eleven. Sometimes Flavor's Eatery.

thanks for the edit and feedback. I did end up going back and changing a couple of things, mainly when it lists the heights of the player, just because when talking basketball, saying "6'9" is understood and more common than saying "6 feet 9 inches tall". But I appreciate you tightening the article up and for the positive feedback. Thanks

Thanks for the help with the Flagler article, Vanessa. It's kind of cool that the UF intern ended up editing my piece. If you've never made the 90 minute drive to St. Aug, consider it. Small beach, small town, unique downtown area. Good times.
