I graduated from Valparaiso University in May 2009 with my Bachelor's Degree in New-Media Journalism and a minor study in Creative Writing. While at Valpo, I was part of the student newspaper, the college radio station, an improv group, and helped with the football team's game and practice film.
If it's one thing I like to do is multi-task and get my hands into different things. Here on B/R, I started with football columns. While I may focus on a couple of teams, I may comment on different topics as they break the news. I also plan to write wrestling pieces, as I've grown up watching pro wrestling since I was about five years old.
I'm also working towards being an aspiring author. In March, I independently published "Hometown U.S.A." and have another book currently in the process of the first proofread.
I'm always amazed at the audience reaction to some of the articles. It's a good thing. I like getting feedback, and I know I'm still improving for the larger audience. Feel free to give tips or feedback on anything you read. I also enjoy a good debate on Twitter.

No problem, glad I could help. I used to have exactly the same problem with em-dashes. Try typing something, then type double hyphens, then something else (with no spaces in between). Then when you hit the spacebar afterwards you should be left with an em-dash. The problem I always had was typing *space* double hyphens *space* then typing again, and I think that activates en-dashes instead. Hope that helps!
No sweat, Dean. I've done it before myself :)
No problem, Dean! I would maybe contact tech support if you are having issues with links. Basically from my editing interface I can highlight the text I want to link, click the "insert link" button and past in the web address I want to link. If yours is different than that, or the same and not working, maybe see if someone out there can help. Thanks!
Thanks for the props, Dean!
Love your work
Glad to hear it, Dean. Keep up the great work.
Not a problem, Dean. And from one father to a soon-to-be father, congratulations! Trust me, I understand the feeling of everything weighing on your mind at a time like this, so I truly appreciate the effort. I'm glad that I could help out, and best of luck to you and your family.
Ha ha! Yeah, you did predict the backlash, though. But I think your analysis is correct when you put him next to Rollins and Ambrose, both of whom ooze personality and charisma.
You're welcome, Dean. Try this for the em dash and let me know if you have any issues: On a Macintosh platform, the em-dash is produced by holding down SHIFT and OPTION, then pressing the dash button. On a PC, the em-dash is produced by holding down ALT and then pressing 0151 on the numeric keypad.
