no i didn't, i didn't realize your story was on DD. congrats. as LSU football community leader allow me to say welcome to BR. great first piece i look forward to reading more. and although i don't write as much about bball and baseball, if you are interested in writing about those LSU sports as well, by all means have at it.

No prob. Welcome to B/R, by the way. Didn't realize you were new.
There are a few options. One if that you can just write directly into B/R. The second is to use the formatting removal tool in B/R's word processor (looks like a nuclear mushroom cloud). The third is to paste into a Gmail message and convert it into plain text.
Those should avoid those issues. The B/R formatting removal tool would probably be the easiest transition, but make sure to look the story over before publishing because sometimes it adds extra paragraph breaks or turns background coding due to copying from Word into coding that will be readable in the story.
