About Kelsea »

My name is Kelsea Jordan. I'm a sophomore premed student in Virginia right now, moving to Charlotte/Mooresville May 25 :). I am a Hooter's Girl at the Roanoke, Virginia store now and hope to be in the Concord Hooter's when I get settled in. I am a newcomer to the NASCAR scene, but have made many great friends who both drive and work in the sport. I love to write and thought I might give it a shot here on Bleacher Report as my buddies share their successes and challenges in the sport with me this season!

I love to snowboard, jetski, go camping and fishing. The water is my sancutuary...I love the beach and the lake and spend most of my summers at one or the other. I golf, or attempt to. My pink golf clubs are my pride and joy :) I enjoy working out at the gym and spending as much time as I can with my friends and family. I loveeee my job at Hooter's, it is honestly the most amazing job with the most incredible opportunities, that I have ever had! I love racing and intend to spend a good part of this season at the track, watching, cheering on my buddies and doing some interviews to learn more about the sport and its athletes!

I sing, model and write as well as work and attend school. Hopefully, I'll get to participate with my Hooter's girls in some of the NASCAR promos this race season. I live for excitement , challenges and the pursuit of success. I love meeting new people and learning as much as I can about others and what motivates and inspires them!

I feel I can bring an interesting perspective to NASCAR writing having watched the "wheels turn" so to speak from the inside out. Several of my good friends drive as well, from their beginnings in the diversity program (Jonathan Smith) to my buddies who are carrying out family legacies of racing. These drivers, no matter their level of experience or success, share one thing...their passion and unwaivering desire to succeed in this sport, sometimes against all odds.

I don't know how much I will write, but have some great connections inside the Camping World East , Nationwide and Cup series. I look forward to sharing some of these driver's stories as we wind up for what may be the most challenging season yet for these young men and women.

    Hey there,

I took an article on the top 10 current college football coaches, and fast forwarded 10 years to the year 2019.

Check it out when you get a chance.

OK, so I'm the new Community Leader for the Nationwide Series — the newest community here on B/R... and I'd like to formally invite you to join the community and help me make it grow.

    http://bleacherreport.com/nationwide-series

Whether you want to write, comment or do both, I'd like to have you as a member of the community to give the series some well deserved attention.

This season looks to be another wild one as several Cup regulars crash the part while the likes of Brad Keselowski and Jason Keller try and keep the big boys from bullying them.

So come join me in the Nationwide Series Community — and don't forget to tag any Nationwide Stories with the appropriate tag now!

    Kelsea,

Do you play Fantasy Racing? If so, me and Adam are trying to get a group of people together for a Bleacher Report Members only league.

I've created one on FoxSports.com called Bleacher Report Members, the password is bleacher01 if you are interested in joining. If so, see-ya there! And feel free to spread the word!

Funny girl... Why would you waste time with a car? There's plenty of perfectly good F-15E fighters out with 4th FW at Seymore-Johnson AFB. That'll get you here and the wings would still be hot. Actually, there's a store about a mile from my house...

Looks like you've got it now, right? You have to make sure it's sized correctly. Email it to me at mjgwelb@aol.com if you have any other problems. I was in the process of reading and editing it - so let me go take a look!

One tip, keep your paragraphs short - like one or two sentences max - makes for easier reading.
Take care - great read and CONGRATS on your first - of many!!
