Joseph's Bio

I'm Joseph Morgan and my passion bucket for B/R is always overflowing.

6'0" 200 lbs. ---> Ding! (I love The Dan Patrick Show. It rocks!)

My favorite teams are the Valdosta High Wildcats (see my picture), the Florida Gators, and the Atlanta Braves.

I'm a senior in high school and the sports editor of our school newspaper. It's a sweet gig.

Joseph Writes About

The Short List What Joseph thinks about sport's most pressing questions

  • Favorite Athletes

Chipper Jones, Tim Tebow, Joe DiMaggio, Billy Latsko, Joe Morgan, Tim Duncan

  • Favorite Sports Teams

Florida Gators, Atlanta Braves, Valdosta High Wildcats, Valdosta State Blazers, Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Knicks

  • Favorite Coaches

Urban Meyer, Bobby Cox, Wright Bazemore, Nick Hyder, Billy Donovan

  • All Time Sports Moment

Bill Mazeroski's Walk-Off Home Run to beat the Yankees in the '60 World Series

  • Most Memorable Game Attended

2004 NLDS Game 2, Braves vs. Astros

  • Most Unbreakable Sports Record

    Joe DiMaggio's 56-game hitting streak

  • Ruth or Mays?

    Mays. A more complete player.

  • Unitas or Montana?

Montana. A better leader with more titles.

  • Jordan or Russell?

Toss up. Jordan is the greatest player ever, but Russell was the greatest winner.

  • Gretzky or Orr?

Although I'm not much of a hockey fan, there's no arguing against Gretzky as the best of all time

  • Pele or Maradona?

Pele. No one's grace or talent at soccer could/can match his.

  • Federer or Sampras?

I think you have to go with Federer now that he's won the French Open.

  • Tiger or Nicklaus?

Tiger, but I probably can't judge that fairly enough to make an informed decision.

  • Petty or Earnhardt?

Petty. While both have had lasting impacts on NASCAR, Petty really set the standard.

  • Schumacher or Senna?

Schumacher. I don't follow IRL and I know his name. That's pretty big, if you ask me.

  • Pac 10, Big 12, Big 10, SEC, ACC, or Big East?

    SEC
