About

Jake Brown is one of those classic sports junkies: He watches and enjoys everything from mid-major college basketball to hockey and everything in between.

He also happens to be a fledgling sports journalist, working on some level for both the South Bend Tribune in South Bend, Ind., and The Times of Northwest Indiana in Munster, Ind.

For the South Bend Tribune, Jake is the University of Notre Dame hockey beat writer and covers a vast amount of high school sports. He freelances for The Times, covering Notre Dame football and men's basketball. In short, he spends a lot of time on the Notre Dame campus interviewing athletes.

One of these days he'll find that next great job, but in the mean time he'll write at Bleacher Report about his favorite teams and continue to get better at his job every day.
