Ken's Bio
I am an aspiring writer at a later stage in life. I enjoy writing about sports, especially NFL football and Nascar, as well as many real life experiences. I believe sarcasm is more effective at getting a point across than sugar -coating issues. If you are concerned with stepping on toes, IMO, you have no business being in the business.
After you take the time to read some of my articles, it will become profoundly evident that I "exsist for controversy, and controversy exsist for me". My blood gets pumping at a rapid pace by stirring the proverbial pot. I live for this.
I take great pride in the fact that I had my very first attempt at penning a book published, as well as having it accepted for distribution into America's leading bookstore chain. The title is, "New England Bandwagon Nation". It is the real story of the history of NFL fan support in New England. Yes, I am a native New Englander, but have never been a Patriots fan.
I had experienced participating on an undefeated, championship football team, which lost only three games in four years, and undefeated baseball team and a lousy ice hockey team by the age of thirteen. By fifteen, I had driven my first Saturday night stock car race and by the age of eighteen I owned my own stock car. Two years later I won my first feature race. There were more to come after that first one.
I have much life experiences to draw from. I have the gift of being able to place people right into situations with words. That being said, I do believe that I may learn from ANYONE, and anyone can learn from me. I hope you enjoy my work and I appreciate feedback whether it be positive or negative.
BTW, I am an animal lover and that is my dog who's name is Greta and NO, you cannot have her!
We are both "so lappy to meet you"!!!

Hi.
I thought you might be interested that I have finished my multi-part story on Joe Weatherly.
Unfortunately, I got a little more long-winded than usual and I had to break the final part into two parts.
Joe Weatherly: NASCAR's First Triple Champion… Almost. (Part 4a)
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/181881-joe-weatherly-nascars-first-triple-champion-almost-part-4a
And:

..and don’t forget to vote on my first-ever poll(s)!
Thanks in advance.

Ken-
I finally had a chance to read your book. It took me a day and a half because I could not put it down. That was wonderful! Very well done and I'm glad that I read it.
You openned my eyes to some things that I wanted to learn more and then taught me some things that I didn't know.
If I wasn't a "hater" of everyone you mentioned in the book already, I definitely would be after reading.
Great job again and thanks for telling me about it.
~Kelly
PS. If you ever write another one, I would definitely read it! And would love a signed copy!

I'm sorry that I haven't got back. I have been busy.
I"m reading your book right now. I have a feeling that the Patriot fans are worse then the Cowboy fans.

Wow! The 2009 Daytona 500 has generated a blizzard of articles, somewhat burying my own look at the race: "Why Did NASCAR's Super Bowl End in the Third Quarter?"

Perhaps you’d like to comment on my look at the race.

Ken, I just got done reading through your comments posted in the Manning/Brady article and I must say that I respect the heck out of your ability to keep the misinformed fans at bay.
You certainly know your stuff quite well and I really enjoyed reading your article.
The fact that your a Tarkenton fan shows that you are certainly a credible fan in my eyes who has great knowledge of the history of the game.
Kudos.
