Peer pressure was huge even in my day, but we weren't subject to the rediculous, over-blown media of today. Sensationalism sells.
If a guy with nothing more than a 12th grade voc. school ed. can get a book published, you can too. Any advice I can give, don't be afraid to ask. Just pick a subject you are passionate about and the words will flow.
Maybe it could be on the very subject you wrote that article on? I wish you the best.

Just letting you know that Mike, one of the guys who maintains sportslore.com copied your article to post. He sends it to another guy named Jerry to get it on. They never edit or alter words whatsoever. Sometimes it takes a little while to get stuff posted.
Like I said, the site doesn't get a lot of traffic and they do not count hits. (Too expensive.) They are great guys who have done a lot for me and knew nothing of me. I just sent them a copy of my first book and just like Angel here on B/R, they loved it. They have posted PR for me for a while and post many of my articles.
They are located in So. Jersey near Philly. Mostly Eagles, Phillies and Steeler fans.
I like your attitude. Mature for your age. Too many young folks think pro sports today is all about "the bling". There was a time when character really mattered to people.
