About

Ian Casselberry just can't stop writing about baseball. He's contributed to Yahoo Sports' Big League Stew and covered the Detroit Tigers for MLive.com and SB Nation.

Blogging since 2004, his work has led to features on ESPN.com, USA Today Sports Weekly and Maple Street Press' Detroit Tigers Annual. Unfortunately, it hasn't helped him meet Charlize Theron.

A native of Ann Arbor, MI, he denied his Wolverines roots and studied creative writing at the University of Iowa, where his apartment was very clean.

You can find him on Twitter at @iancass. He can also be reached via e-mail at icasselberry@bleacherreport.com.

Montana had much better hair. And wasn't in 'Any Given Sunday.'

  • Jordan or Russell?

As a Pistons fan, I grudgingly pick Jordan.

  • Gretzky or Orr?

    Steve Yzerman. OK, Gordie Howe.

  • Pele or Maradona?

Pele was in a movie with Stallone. Need I say more?

  • Federer or Sampras?

Sampras gets the nod, thanks to Bridgette Wilson.

  • Tiger or Nicklaus?

If neither of these guys made up that lemonade/iced tea drink, I'm not interested.

  • Petty or Earnhardt?

Which one wore the cowboy hat? I like that guy.

  • Schumacher or Senna?

Senna had that great documentary made about him.

  • ACC, Big 12, Big East, Big Ten, Pac-12 or SEC?

I live in ACC country, but they won't get the Big Ten (B1G!) out of my blood.
