Ben's Bio
Name: Ben Whitehead
College: Clemson University
I am one of the biggest Clemson fans on campus. I grew up in Blythewood, SC, just outside of Columbia, but never had any intentions of going to the University of South Carolina. I'm a Tiger, born and bred. My blood runneth orange and I live and die by Clemson Athletics. I enjoy playing golf, working out, writing/talking about sports and taking road trips. My goal is to go to a college football game at every ACC and SEC stadium by the time I am 25 (22 right now). So far I've been to Clemson, Duke, Georgia Tech, Miami (Orange Bowl), NC State and Virginia Tech of the ACC and Florida, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee and Vanderbilt of the SEC. In 2008, I plan on making trips to Boston College, Florida State, North Carolina, Virginia and Wake Forest. That will leave me with only Maryland of the ACC to get to in 2009. Then, I will work on finishing my tour of SEC stadiums starting in 2009. Of course, I also want to go to several other stadiums across the country, but I want to start in my home territory before I venture out.

Pitching my first inning of college baseball for Erskine (before I transfered to Clemson). Ground out to short, pop up to short, double down the first base line and then another pop out to end the inning.
Most Memorable Game Attended
When Clemson beat Nebraska in the 2002 College World Series in Omaha. Down 7-2, the Tigers came back furiously in the last two innings to defeat the Huskers in front of 24,711 fans, the majority of which were cheering for Big Red. It was an unbelievable game and atmosphere and my first experience in Omaha. I'll NEVER forget that trip.
