Matthew's Bio

A lot of my friends call me some sort of variation of a "Grammar Nerd."

I'm pretty good at children's (years five to seven) crossword puzzles as well.

I totally know the Konami video game code, :d

I can beat anyone Candyland, Chutes and Ladders, Mouse Trap, Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots and Hungry Hungry Hippos.

*The above pretty much sums up my life.*

  3. Hey Matthew,

Lou Gehrig has somehow been forgotten amongst the game’s immortals, even though he was possibly even more of a reason for the success of Ruth’s 1927 Yankees. Read about the quiet, forgotten leader of “Murderer’s Row,” Henry Lou Gehrig.

    Thanks in advance!

  4. Hey Matthew,

John Sterling is one of the most eccentric and passionate play-by-play announcers in all of sports. Here is a gaze into the heart, soul, and lungs of New York Yankees radio. I would love to hear your comments and feedback on a great, yet quirky man.

  5. Hey Matthew,

SI’s Selena Roberts has chosen to haunt A-Rod, and do anything in her power to achieve money, success, and fame. Is she really so different than A-Rod after all? Read why I said “NO.” I would love to hear your comments and feedback.

    Thanks in advance.

  7. Hey Matthew,

The Yankees were already hitting just .232 with RISP (3rd worst in the league) BEFORE facing the Red Sox. They then went a horrifying 4-19. Read how fans are beginning to become angry and impatient as the left-on-base totals begin to skyrocket. I would love to hear your thoughts and feedback.

  15. Hey Matthew,

After 86 years in “The House that Ruth Built,” it still felt weird imagining the Yankees in a new building. In my third trip to the new Yankee Stadium, there were events that finally made it begin to feel like home.

I would love to hear your comments and feedback. Thanks in advance!
