Yo man. As much as we disagree about everything Reds related, I appreciate the comments and the passion.
I see no reason for huge concern around Votto. I also don't see where he's "obviously tired." How can anyone justify giving Votto a day off if he's ok to go?
Nobody complained two years ago when he played 161 games. But now with low RBI totals and an 0-7 performance everyone's speculating as to what's wrong with him.
I think he's just fine.
You've yet to acknowledge the fact that you're basing all of this off of one game. Until that lineup is put out again, and they produce again, then this is pointless.
As for playing Heisey every day. He's not an every-day player. I think that's been well established at this point.
They did put Frazier and Heisey there... Guess what happened? I'll let you go look it up.
Never had any doubts that Cozart would benefit from moving down in the order. But, as I've stated over and over again, the issue was having someone bat second. Now that Ludwick is back it affords them the option to shuffle the lineup.
David, sometimes I don't think you listen to me. I was more concerned with the fact that if Cozart dropped in the order, there was no one to hit second. You also suggested moving Frazier to the two hole so how did that work out?
