Mad about Blues?
"Should Basel notch the opener and even up both the aggregate score at 2-2 and the road goals at 1-1"
Do you understand football? You yourself said "more important were the TWO road goals the Blues tallied" IN THE SAME ARTICLE, so if Basel score first, it will be 2-2 on aggregate and 2-1 to Chelsea on away goals, because Chelsea have TWO away goals.
Featured columnist? Good joke.
Just the kind of article (7 Reasons Chelsea Will Win the Premier League Title Next Season) I wanted to read. I do hope we win next season. But i am terribly upset the way we played against City this season. Looking at Tottemham I feel we should be more passionate and brave to play against all the teams. And hope that Mourhino returns. Cheers!!
great win against Fulham! The match really boost chelsea's confident. Hope chelsea will win against Liverpool. Very hard game this sunday
No worries! I appreciate quality pieces regardless of the writer's team, especially with the sudden decline of quality articles on B/R.
I understand how difficult it can be. Burn out writing all these pieces and some very time-consuming is bound to take place. Always refreshing too see you on here. I attempt to come back but generally lately the quality on B/R has become so poor it tests my nerves with this site to be honest.
Dear B/R: Was fourth (should have been #3 writer but copy editor put FA Cup preview under "EPL" and not "Chelsea" site) in total reads last month but don't see my picture in "March's Leading Writers." So frustrating. I shouldn't have to babysit the little things like this after spending 50+ hours this week writing for B/R on my own time and on my own dime. Very frustrated.
Really appreciate the kind words, Kevin - not that I think I deserve them! I'm sure you can tell from my Twitter rants/postings that I don't much like Chelsea at all, but I prefer maintaining a more neutral stance when I write on issues and incidents like these. Obviously that was a piece that I was pretty happy with, but still I was blown away by your reaction. Thanks for the continued support and always appreciate your opinions and views as well. You put up some pretty high-quality stuff too, so I hope you get on the paid roster soon as deserved reward. (I'm going for the same goal as well obviously.) Cheers.
true blue!!!!!! Cross the fingers for the blue's double this year!!!!!!!!!
Any time Kevin. The struggles? Well after watching this team in the PL since the Double kind of get used to it. We'll get big wins and have one maddening, poor run which costs us the title. Hopefully we can get the FA Cup and Europa League (and get in the Top 4).
