Born and raised in Wisconsin, I've been playing sports since I was little. I started playing soccer at a very young age and stuck with that through college. I started playing basketball in third grade and continued that through high school, playing three years of varsity. I played football for two years, in sixth and eighth grade, but had to choose between soccer and football in high school and chose soccer. I did track and field for one year in high school as well as playing baseball all throughout my youth and my senior year of high school.
I coached a youth soccer team for one year and went undefeated with my U14 soccer team.
For me, sports was my release and my escape from the real world. I was able to take out my frustrations with sports as well as take a break from school when I was playing. I grew up watching the Packers, Brewers, and Bucks, but also was a fan of the LA Galaxy and when LeBron came into the NBA became a big fan of his. I would rather watch the NBA and NFL than college sports but I think that March Madness is pretty intense.
I graduated college in May of 2012 with degrees in psychology and sociology. I am currently in my Masters program studying school counseling with the intention of being a high school guidance counselor after graduate school. I also am currently coaching High School girls basketball.
