I don't mind the Nets. There isn't really much of a rivalry between the Knicks and the Nets. I appreciate their history and the fact that they used to play on Long Island.
As for Giants Stadium, I wish it was in New York. I don't really have anything against New Jersey the state, but it's just a hassle to get to the Stadium.
I don't think there is a vicious rivalry between New York and New Jersey. A lot of New Yorkers give New Jersey a hard time but I don't think it deserves all the flack it gets. Sometimes people from New Jersey can be a little delusional, like when they say New Jersey pizza is better than New York pizza. That's just ridiculous.
The only real rivalry I can think of is Rangers - Devils, which is a pretty heated rivalry.
Also, in south Jersey there are a lot of Eagles/ Phillies fans, which creates a New York vs. Philly rivalry. I'd say New Jersey's biggest flaw is the abundance of Philadelphia sports fans.
I hope that helped.

Zeke - to me, the logical step would be to contact the Phillies or the local newspaper. Just a couple of ideas - good luck.

Hey Zeke!
Hope everything's well! I'm getting ready for the upcoming NFL season...And for the Minnesota Vikings, I feel there is just one guy who will make it a memorable season. Or won't. And that's Percy Harvin.

Over the past five years, the Celtics had opportunities to acquire some of the game's best young superstars. Find out who they are in this slideshow and please tell me what you think.

Hey Zeke, thanks for the note. I'm going to start writing again. I took some time off due to getting a full-time job and having a crazy busy schedule, but I am itching to write some sports humor. B/R changed format about the time I stopped writing and I was too busy (impatient?) to figure it out. Like your stuff, man. You're still turning out good stuff.

In 2004, the Philadelphia Eagles acquired wide receiver Terrell Owens. They went to the Super Bowl. Then things fell apart and T.O. ended up on the Cowboys. With the release of Owens by the Dallas Cowboys, I couldn't help but wonder: Should the Philadelphia Eagles resign T.O.?
