Umer 's Bio
I am a die-hard Oakland Raiders fanatic and will be till the very end! I am also a large fan of the Los angeles Lakers and besides the NBA & NFL, I am not very familiar with other sports. I am also a sophomore at my High School where I currently play wide reciever for the school's football team. I will always respect the opinions, reviews, comments and critique of others as long as they are not profane and respect my views as well.

Most Unbreakable Sports Record
The Patriots going 18-0 and then losing the Superbowl to the Giants was probably a great experience for any football lover unless of course you are Patriots fan.
Ruth or Mays?

Unitas or Montana?
Montana. You can't argue with four super bowl rings and all those great final second heroics he pulled. Not to metion, all the unhappy Bengal fans he made. Unitas was without doubt a great QB as well playing in a time when QBs were just handed the playbooks and expected to do all the play calling themselves. Unitas found much sucess in this difficult system.

The advice I'll give is when you write a story you have to ask yourself two questions 1) why should someone read this article? 2) know your audience. Provide good takes (opinions) and solid information. If challenged listen to your audience, discuss their views and make your point. YOu have to know what you're talking about. Do your research and try as hard as possible to make your information bullet proof. Meaning if taken to task was your information from a solid source or was it from 'unnamed sources'. Keep in mind that people of all ages will read your articles and just because a player was before your time doesn't mean he wasn't as good as someone that you watched. Such as your take on Unitas or Montana, both were great in their own right but from two different era's. In Unitas era he was given the playbook, he learned it, he then went out and called the plays from the QB position and went out and won games. These days that is unheard of; use this as a way of showing that the game has evolved from era to era. Years ago the public wasn't as big on statistics as they are today. Say what you want to say in the shortest amount of words as possible. When you're writing you need to take us there so when we read your articles we can feel like we were there or are getting a first hand account. Just a couple of things for you Umer, thanks for asking for my help I hope these thoughts help. Continue to write like everyone else with experience you'll improve I have faith that you'll DO WELL!
