About

Born and raised in Flushing, Queens, I spent my adolescence arguing how the Yankees of the late 80s and early 90s were awesome and the Mets of those years were trash. When 1994 came and went without a World Series, I wondered if I was personally cursed. Then 1995 came and and all was peachy - until the Yankees gave up the goods after being up 2 games to 0 on the Mariners. 1996 washed that all away...except for the lasting image of Wade Boggs riding around on a horse in right field.

Hi Percy, I'm sorry I didn't get your note yesterday. I'm not sure how an older version came up, and I apologize for the inconvenience. I did go give an edit to the new version you uploaded (simply for a few style things), and the live version came up as usual. But let me know if something weird happens again. Thanks, and sorry again for the confusion!

Hey Percy, You are exactly right. If you want to compete for a specific team award, you have to write 5+ articles in a month on that specific team. The most important element of this competition is that you correctly tag the articles, which accounts for how your work is ultimately measured and recorded in our system and for the competition.

Thanks again, Percy, and good luck!

Hey Percy! I hope all is going well.

To qualify for the 50 points, all you have to do is produce at least one article per day for five consecutive days — that is not specific to single team or sport, just five articles on B/R.

Also, the points system does still have a slight delay, but please let me assure you that we are tracking each and every read/award you earn, so there's nothing to worry about!

    Thanks again, Percy.
