I'm Ðαη Riaz, the guy you always see in the comment section. WELCOME TO MY PAGE!
About me: I like to think of myself as a leader not a follower, one who inspires others to be themselves. Its down to what you believe this site is about, you get characters here. But what are you? What would you call yourself? My message to you is to be yourself, be unique, make this site a better place. I believe the best people on this site give their own opinions and think for themselves. Contrary to what some believe, I'm not a troll, I'm not a hater, I'm not a God. I'm just an awesome person... jks :P Oh and also, I'm really defensive when it comes to my fans. DONT MESS WITH MY FANS.

Just a Story:

It started off as an idea, that BR could be something more than what it was. I remember looking up some of the older and more popular writers who had left the site. There seemed to be so much more to this place before I "officially" joined in the late winter of 2011. Some kind of close knit community that was always buzzing with new ideas and articles. I wondered what it would take to bring it all back.

It was a small goal initially. I never thought it would actually work. Back then the profile pages were near deserted. All the old and fun writers and readers had gone, except for a handful (and they didn't even talk to each other). Conversation was always limited to sport's topics, profile's were all the same (the same old information), there was this emptiness about this place. I just wondered, what if we changed it? I made an effort to do something, a half hearted one... but failed. So I gave up and just went back to reading articles and commenting like everyone else, fading into the grey.

Later on however, somewhere in 2012 I caught the attention of the most respected users on the site (who would later become good friends of mine). These were the remaining users I had mentioned earlier, who had remained here after their friends had left. I decided to give my idea another go. I wrote a small bio which was different to everyone else's, I pointed out things on the site that I had noticed... and that everyone could relate to (this grew over time), gradually I began meeting more and more people who took notice of me. These people were enthusiastic about my observations, and were keen on suggesting some of their own. Soon people started writing their own bio's, ones that were unique and different. I guess people realized they could express themselves, and then use it as a stepping stone to meet more people. Readers who would have shared interests, which would in turn open up more discussion. But then there was a boom.

It didn't happen right away, it was more like an accelerated process... or kind of like a snowball that was tumbling down a mountain. There were so many messages that were continuously flooding my board and inbox. I found myself talking to so many people at once, people who had noticed me in the comment sections on articles, people who just so happen to find my bio when browsing around. Some messaged more often than others, some I preferred talking to more than others. It felt like I was making new connections all the time. We were all personalities without faces, it didn't matter where we from, it didn't matter if we never saw each others faces (or never knew what most people looked like). This place was coming back to life, and it felt like it had happened overnight .Everyone was suddenly unique, everyone posted more about themselves, there were bio's created that were far more creative than my own.

I suppose the best part was... It felt like you couldn't leave it alone for a second, I remember every time I'd take a break for a few days/weeks , I would come back to around 60 messages from all these different people. All the friends I had made. Suddenly this page wasn't a profile anymore, it became the centre of something. Something that was bigger than me. Because they weren't just talking to me, they were talking to each other.

We had created something, a phenomenon we had called "The Circle". A rapidly expanding web of friendships, with new users popping up everywhere. Usually they would find my page and send me message, and then suddenly find my closest friends messaging them on their own page. Like I said there were some I spoke to more than others, some would message every hour, some every other week. It was all good fun :) There were competitions, award ceremonies, fictional shows, there was always something new.
There was always something going on, a running joke, or maybe the mini wars between users, the moments of drama and.... romance LOL. This was a time which I consider the peak of my time here at BR, and I think many would agree and would be more than happy to talk about it. Even the old legendary writers that were here before me, the ones I had just missed; had returned and were more than enthusiastic about the atmosphere.

So by now you're probably wondering what happened, where did it all end? Well... nothing lasts forever I suppose. At first it felt like it would never end, that we could keep it going forever. But we all began to realize that things were ending just as rapidly as they began. Some of the users we were closer to, the ones in the "Inner Circle" were beginning to leave for good, one by one. Things began to decline as soon as people started to realize that the website itself was not as perfect as we thought. There's an inconsistency in the way that users are punished, and there is no appeal process. Just 3 warnings and then a perma ban. One of our close friends fell victim to the inconsistencies of the system, and left forever. This started a chain of events which would cause members of the inner circle to gradually leave.

It got harder to say goodbye every time, and meeting new people would never feel the same. We always were looking to replace the people we lost, and it's unfair to try force that on others. We were trying to keep it all together, but it just fell apart. There were fewer and fewer messages coming in by the day, the quality in writing dipped in dramatic fashion, every day there was just a new reason to leave for good. Don't get me wrong though, some people were moving on to better things. College/University was the common one, but there were others too. Moving to a different country, getting married on Christmas day, new business ventures. Everyone was ready to write a new chapter in their lives, including myself.

In the rare times that I drop in, I find myself looking back to what things used to be like. All the memories that flood into my mind. I see small remnants of what used to be, there are some that are still here. But the vast majority are long gone. I still talk to a handful of these people now and again. Others I've not heard from. I like to think that they're all happy, that all those faceless personalities found what they were looking for in life. I know I have :) ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

I've been ready... well, now I am.

As long as Marvel stays true to the character, Dr. Strange should blossom 2 life. If he didn't really have a crucial role, I doubt Marvel digs up Strange. I wouldn't rule out Antman either making an impact. The Avengers 2 already planted the seeds for the Civil War. And it's not a coincidence we're getting Strange, Fantastic Four and Gambit knowing the infinity War ( two parters ) are upcoming films. Everyone ( and I mean everyone )... is apart of it.

You underestimate the acting ability of RDJ. Iron Man wasn't suppose 2 be a long term, lovable guy. If they kept the continuation of a awesomely positive Iron Man, the series will get stale. How many times does Superman save the world until you say '' Screw it, change the dynamic already?'' Luckily, RDJ already spoke about Tony seeing the world differently. Basically, RDJ with the legendary portrayal of Tony Stark will test the audience. This is where Evans' Captain America comes in. Cap's job is to either divide the viewers or get them completely on his side 100%. Marvel movies are no way near DC's level of darkness. But... they don't even have 2 go in that direction. The performances, stunning action and story telling will be enough 2 satisfy the fans. If they had mediocre actors and cheesy effects, the argument is very strong that none of this actually works. Part 1 and part 2 = 6 hours. So, they can't be that concern with time. I'll be very amazed if Shield gets any involvement. Maria Hill might not even make it. And Sony reportedly contacted Marvel 4 the Infinity War. Leaving out X-Men sucks. But, it could benefit the writing team... giving them more precious time 2 fit everything in.

Man, they took forever making a Wolverine movie. So, Black Widow was getting cancelled, ignored or delayed. Marvel are wimps for even considering Scarlett's BW failing. #1. she's SCARLETT JOHANSSON! Her career and hotness... is at it's peak. #2. Marvel has knocked every ball out of the park since the Disney merger. And I'm willing 2 bet she could outdraw Fantastic Four. #3, she deserves one. Black Widow had two cameos and two lengthy films... taking backseats. We are getting a WW movie. But that's only due 2 the fact, she's top 3 greatest in the DC universe. Supergirl isn't even top 10... and that's probably where Marvel ranks BW outside the top 10. And... that's dumb if they green lit Captain Marvel. BW is a 1,000 x bigger star than her right now.

Nope... not yet. By July, I expect 2 see the movie in great quality. I'm not really a movie theater kinda guy.

Dan, that's a rare bunch. Mainstream movies are more understandable 2 women especially as casuals. I've only banged one chick that knew heroes... and they
were typically Bats, Sups and X-Men. Perhaps... I'm asking for too much. Comics are traditionally male driven, similar 2 pro wrestling. Elektra's bomb is exactly why Marvel and DC feared releasing any more superheroines. In my opinion, Supergirl 84 was the HOF flop that scarred feminine saviors... earning their own titles. Daredevil was everybody's fault. You're lucky... that your boo is even trying comic book adaptations. Alright, let me get down on my knees... LOL XD!

Gotham is taking like a million years 2 end their rookie season. And there's too much filler. Some of the storylines were sloppy like Ogre's inconsistency 2 spare or kill Barbara. I also noticed the clever tease of Barbara losing it mentally. The writers could go into a Harley Quinn direction here. Maybe, that was the purpose of the Ogre. Nygma was always an off the wall character. It was only a matter of time... until he established himself as a madman. The Penguin is destined 2 take over. Whoever these actors are, they have done terrific jobs. Lucius Fox? Yeah, expect him 2 pop up constantly in season two. What did I learn from this season so far? Gordon is incapable of fixing Gotham. He will always fail.

I think we're just happy getting a Flash series. You're right. They should have pieced all of it together in like, two episodes. Flashback after flashback after flashback makes me wonder if we're even in the same dimension. Soon, we'll start questioning every scene being a flashback sequence. LOL XD! Roy Harper
disappearing leaves questions unanswered. I believe, that's the whole point. Where does Roy go from here? Ollie embraces the darkside apparently and that had everything 2 do with Laurel's resurrection. A deal is a deal. Ra is the puppet master. And you wanna talk about flashbacks? Arrow was close 2 writing the blueprint. Hey, Ollie is a playa. Why not have an orgy? My best guess is Felicity. LOL XD!

Okay sir, I'll take your word for it. After all, the epic Daredevil disaster ( years back ) should have lowered our expectations. LOL XD!

A rushed project doesn't help matters. By following the archs, the fans connect with the characters. Marvel mastered this going all the way back 2 Iron Man, 2008. The best that I can hope for... is separate movies after Sups vs Bats. So far, it's WW. Batman doesn't trust anyone. So, I can picture Bats judging the overpowered '' God.'' Henry probably needed another film. You know, just 2 get use 2 him as the S-man.

Arkham Knight seems very promising. But their season pass would leave you broke for months. God, I hate DLC. It's like removing the meat, mustard, cheese and the lettuce from the cheeseburger. All ya got is the burger bun. Oh, let's not forget about the pre-order bonus. That's bacon.

The purposely leaked photo officially ends the Nolan series. I expected more hair up top... but it's hilarious. I mean, a year ago, Jared was resembling Jesus
Christ. The Joker is gonna be featured in Suicide Squad. And according 2 it's backstory, the Joker is very important 2 Harley Quinn's ready-ness 2 move on ( or try too ).I already checked out the comments and surprise, surprise, Heath is all over the place. These are the same morons that threw hissy fits that Ledger couldn't pull it off in 2007. Shirtless? No. Maybe in a few scenes, but not it's entirety.

Good, it's a rumor... but a very loud on. Hal Jordan? Goodbye.

Well, Batman did have an irrelevant part in Suicide Squad. It wasn't big at all.

Fantastic Four + Fox = HELL NAW! Ant-man will be my least favorite. I don't really give a damn about him. Now, back to Fantastic Four. Just as Ant-man, it's never been a captivating series for me. Sure, Marvel delivered gold these past seven years... but Fantastic Four might end the streak of successful movies. They supposedly tried 2 please nerds with Silver Surfer in the last movie. Now, Hollywood feels they had 2 make changes. Here's my two cents. F4... is not a good franchise, period. Now, you got retardation. Doctor Doom is going to be a blogger, not a scientist or even the malevolent dictator of a fictional eastern European nation. What about the members? They're related. Again, it's looking like Chronicle, a marginal success. Jamie Bell is a toothpick and yet, he's attempting 2 be the Thing. Re-shooting is not killing the movie. The complete lack of understanding of the source material and a shoddy director is contributing 2 it's downfall.

I couldn't have said it better myself.

Ha, Superman banging WW... just 2 keep her in line? Please, Wonder Woman is not invincible. Her flesh is vulnerable. Bullets can go right through her ass with awesome accuracy and quickness. Why do you think she has the bracelets? Diana cannot take pierced weapons like Sups. Of course, super speed makes it tough. She needs 2 be distracted. As for the relationship? I will never be convinced. There's only two ways Sups/WW works. For starters, the sex must be casual. Sups and WW knows as a unit, they can't be stopped. Together, they can save the universe. I say, that's a partnership more than a relationship. In other words, Sups is WW's client. My take is pretty much Injustice's arch. Sups and WW as dictators seeing themselves as the God and Goddess of the world. This forces earthlings 2 response... or kneel. Wow, I think I just convinced myself. LOL XD!

Yep, they're going back 2 basics. Sad, Terry McGinnis dying sets up Tim Drake. Plus after Convergence, there will be a new title set in Terry's time. Yeah, I might skip em as well.

Oh, well let me know when you're done reading 3000.

Geoff is the man picturing the true potential of GL corps. Hal can't justify the actions plus, outclass Guy ( no matter how hard he tries ). John Stewart brings a different '' thuggish'' style to the JL. We need to add in some flavor. But... Guy could be the loose cannon, the rebel without a cause appearing when you least expect it. I seriously doubt they would allow Guy 2 outshine Superman. Maybe he was the second lantern nominated 2 join, but shot it down, opening the door for Stewart. In the movie, Guy can fly solo, but lend a hand ( and stir the pot ) at unpredictable moments.

Um... if you prefer the era of Tony as Iron Man, stick with Superior. Invincible Iron Man Omnibus, Vol. 1 showcases the suitable replacement. The art isn't that great... but the story is amazing. It's pretty much, Iron Man V2 with Tony. Superior is the same volumes we discussed. The GL corps is lead by Guy and John. So, you can't go wrong there. As for Batman Beyond: Industrial Revolution? It's the aftermath of the anime series. The art is the same as TV. The pros and the cons are neck and neck. Fair warning, the plot can be forgettable. Batman #4 is Batman Begins mixed with Dark Knight Rises. The story is very short too. I hope that helps. Me? I'm going with GL Corps. Ya got too many adventures.
