About me: I like to think of myself as a leader not a follower, one who inspires others to be themselves. Its down to what you believe this site is about, you get characters here. But what are you? What would you call yourself? My message to you is to be yourself, be unique, make this site a better place. I believe the best people on this site give their own opinions and think for themselves. Contrary to what some believe, I'm not a troll, I'm not a hater, I'm not a God. I'm just an awesome person... jks :P Oh and also, I'm really defensive when it comes to my fans. DONT MESS WITH MY FANS.

Just a Story:

It started off as an idea, that BR could be something more than what it was. I remember looking up some of the older and more popular writers who had left the site. There seemed to be so much more to this place before I "officially" joined in the late winter of 2011. Some kind of close knit community that was always buzzing with new ideas and articles. I wondered what it would take to bring it all back.

It was a small goal initially. I never thought it would actually work. Back then the profile pages were near deserted. All the old and fun writers and readers had gone, except for a handful (and they didn't even talk to each other). Conversation was always limited to sport's topics, profile's were all the same (the same old information), there was this emptiness about this place. I just wondered, what if we changed it? I made an effort to do something, a half hearted one... but failed. So I gave up and just went back to reading articles and commenting like everyone else, fading into the grey.

Later on however, somewhere in 2012 I caught the attention of the most respected users on the site (who would later become good friends of mine). These were the remaining users I had mentioned earlier, who had remained here after their friends had left. I decided to give my idea another go. I wrote a small bio which was different to everyone else's, I pointed out things on the site that I had noticed... and that everyone could relate to (this grew over time), gradually I began meeting more and more people who took notice of me. These people were enthusiastic about my observations, and were keen on suggesting some of their own. Soon people started writing their own bio's, ones that were unique and different. I guess people realized they could express themselves, and then use it as a stepping stone to meet more people. Readers who would have shared interests, which would in turn open up more discussion. But then there was a boom.

It didn't happen right away, it was more like an accelerated process... or kind of like a snowball that was tumbling down a mountain. There were so many messages that were continuously flooding my board and inbox. I found myself talking to so many people at once, people who had noticed me in the comment sections on articles, people who just so happen to find my bio when browsing around. Some messaged more often than others, some I preferred talking to more than others. It felt like I was making new connections all the time. We were all personalities without faces, it didn't matter where we from, it didn't matter if we never saw each others faces (or never knew what most people looked like). This place was coming back to life, and it felt like it had happened overnight .Everyone was suddenly unique, everyone posted more about themselves, there were bio's created that were far more creative than my own.

I suppose the best part was... It felt like you couldn't leave it alone for a second, I remember every time I'd take a break for a few days/weeks , I would come back to around 60 messages from all these different people. All the friends I had made. Suddenly this page wasn't a profile anymore, it became the centre of something. Something that was bigger than me. Because they weren't just talking to me, they were talking to each other.

We had created something, a phenomenon we had called "The Circle". A rapidly expanding web of friendships, with new users popping up everywhere. Usually they would find my page and send me message, and then suddenly find my closest friends messaging them on their own page. Like I said there were some I spoke to more than others, some would message every hour, some every other week. It was all good fun :) There were competitions, award ceremonies, fictional shows, there was always something new.
There was always something going on, a running joke, or maybe the mini wars between users, the moments of drama and.... romance LOL. This was a time which I consider the peak of my time here at BR, and I think many would agree and would be more than happy to talk about it. Even the old legendary writers that were here before me, the ones I had just missed; had returned and were more than enthusiastic about the atmosphere.

So by now you're probably wondering what happened, where did it all end? Well... nothing lasts forever I suppose. At first it felt like it would never end, that we could keep it going forever. But we all began to realize that things were ending just as rapidly as they began. Some of the users we were closer to, the ones in the "Inner Circle" were beginning to leave for good, one by one. Things began to decline as soon as people started to realize that the website itself was not as perfect as we thought. There's an inconsistency in the way that users are punished, and there is no appeal process. Just 3 warnings and then a perma ban. One of our close friends fell victim to the inconsistencies of the system, and left forever. This started a chain of events which would cause members of the inner circle to gradually leave.

It got harder to say goodbye every time, and meeting new people would never feel the same. We always were looking to replace the people we lost, and it's unfair to try force that on others. We were trying to keep it all together, but it just fell apart. There were fewer and fewer messages coming in by the day, the quality in writing dipped in dramatic fashion, every day there was just a new reason to leave for good. Don't get me wrong though, some people were moving on to better things. College/University was the common one, but there were others too. Moving to a different country, getting married on Christmas day, new business ventures. Everyone was ready to write a new chapter in their lives, including myself.

In the rare times that I drop in, I find myself looking back to what things used to be like. All the memories that flood into my mind. I see small remnants of what used to be, there are some that are still here. But the vast majority are long gone. I still talk to a handful of these people now and again. Others I've not heard from. I like to think that they're all happy, that all those faceless personalities found what they were looking for in life. I know I have :) ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Dan, I still got mine saved. It's meaningless re-opening those lengthy conversations. We are right... here.

I disagree. Users can stay un-fanned. It's optional... but agreements and bio catches certain people. Luckily for me, it was you, LeeXD, Lil Ray Ray Jr, Alex 2.0, etc. Success story? Naw... call me when I ram hard Margot Robbie. LOL XD! You...stoned? Spike Spiegel says'' Dawg, look at ya picture.''

Sad... I rapidly lose intrigue and grip each time they show Ant-Man ads. If I wanted to see a small tech fry, I would view the Atom. Besides, I'am DC follower anyway. Scott Lang was chosen by Pym 2 be Ant-Man, the answer 2 thievery for the greater good. You want 2 like the hero... and his troubling backstory is good enough. But... there's a strong reason why Ant-Man is the forgotten Avenger. The departure of Edgar Wright, shooting delays, going directly for comedy gags and a thousand writers... leaves me question marks. Now it's clearly obvious dat Marvel is cashing into on the bonafide success of Iron Man. Fine, but... Ant-Man just doesn’t have that same feeling of being an important must-see. Plus, it's material 2 laugh at, not with. Paul Rudd riding an ant? I'm gonna agree 100% of your theory. Ant-Man opens the gateway for supporting characters like Falcon, Black Widow, Blade and Luke Cage. Marvel has already proven they're willing to develop many names and universes. Dr. Strange and Guardian of the Galazy? Who predicted that? And yes, Marvels' Agents of Shield and Carter... were just early tested experiments.

Professor X literally looks down on inferior beings. He just does it in a nicely manner. Poor Bruce can't let go of his haunting past. The bloody murder of his parents killed trust in humanity. 80s' Eddie Murphy called women... vagina traps. Women can easily destroy your hard work and lives. And if you care about them so much, your enemies will use them 2 their advantage. That is psyche of Bruce Wayne. So perhaps I'm wrong about him. He's very down 2 earth. Sue can prance around as a slut. No one would really freaking cares. Reed caring is debatable. Screw dat the whole thing. F4 sucks.

Hollywood played the game beautifully by inserting comic informational
backgrounds with casual stars. Simply put, the trilogies have everything
for everybody. The casuals won't even catch on 2 everything. They just focus
on the action and starpower. Nerds point out every flaw from it's movies. Yes,
I'm guilty as hell for this. What Marvel did needs 2 happen very often in studio productions. By staying true to the characters, signing the RIGHT talent and scripting da proper origins, Marvel movies have been awesome. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles made money... but it wasn't even close 2 being a masterpiece like Iron Man 1 and Avengers. You have 2 respect the history of a series by staying true to it's history. As much as it pains me to say this... but comic book fanatics are not the majority of box office triumph. Since the film's content is PG, Tony and Steve's war will be intense... but with less blood and adult dialogue. The 1st Avengers told us where this was going. And the sequel was 2 shine the light on Ultron's dominant. I haven't seen the movie yet... but something went down in Age of Ultron to launch the Civil War. Interestingly enough, Marvel already knows the potential of confusing fans with a Stark's heel turn. Surprisingly, Stark said he remembered the comics and it has more 2 do with Captain America shredding the boy scout image. Plus, they fear Stark becoming stale. And even RDJ doesn't want dat. To my understanding, Iron Man won't come at us with a wicked heart. Stark truly believes he's doing the right thing.

In different titles, Riddler, Selena and Joker figures it out. Well, in Catwoman's case, he gets very close. My example is villains knowing EVERYTHING about Batman. That is never, ever good for a fighting hero. Secrecy helps Batman win battles and wars.

Kinda of a bitch? Um... Maria Hill = stuck up BYOTCH. She's flirty, but they have yet 2 display her super spy tactics. That stupid agent shield show could cast her. Please... it could actually make the program worth watching. LOL XD!

Megan Fox is a terribly flawed actress presenting an acceptable body and perfect ( fake ) face. Also, she spits on WW, tagging her ''lame.'' In term of complete packages, Jessica Biel murders the field. Dat body screams WW. Ronda Rousey can be an island amazon... just not Diana. Gal Gadot suffers from 2 many issues meeting the acquirements of WW.

Well, not bad 2 you... but 2 me partner. Dawg, I torrent my black ass off.

Like I explained above, Marvel does enough for hardcores and casuals. And excellent point about the rabid readers purchasing comics putting money in Marvel's back pocket. What elevated business and billions was excellent casting. You gotta look like iconic heroes and side characters, Ever wonder why the Dark Knight is still DC's greatest blockbuster? Gary Oldman was Commissioner Gordon and they experimented with Heath Ledger. It just astounding how Marvel distributions... got so much right.

Batman, Superman, Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, WW etc are solo acts. Catwoman and Hawkeye are side characters, period, end of story. Black Widow cannot survive alone without Shield and the Avengers. Two floppy Wolverine titles proves... he can't carry the load by himself. X-Men draws. Wolverine exceptionally draws... with X-Men. ''But I still think they both lacked a good villain (more so Elekra)'' Good guys are only as good... as bad guys.

Fox would need 2 cancel Gotham in order to stop it's future progress. And considering their history of axing shows, Gotham may not even make it to season 3. The show will push beyond 3 if Fox continues it's obligation, guaranteed. Punk ass Bruce teases his own destiny without knowing. Crying for Gordon 2 seek his parents' killer and discovering the bat cave set the pieces up on the board. Man, this is gonna be a slow build towards Batman. True, Orge had serious potential. In clever written fashion, Barbaba and Orge could have been their manifestation of Joker and Quinn. Barbara Kean isn't exactly lost in the woods. But... damn, the Barbara storyline was silly. She undergoes this transformation in the span of 2 episodes?? The same can be said regarding Edward Nygma going from being a quirky CSI nerd to a psychopathic cop killer in 2 eps. Then again, Barbara always seemed a little unstable to me. Hmmm... Heath Ledger's Joker replies - '' See, madness, as you know, is like gravity. All it takes is a little push.'' Orge was dat push.

Let's see... Gotham brought the character of Kristen Kringle into the fray. She works with Nygma ( who will eventually become the Riddler) at the Gotham City Police Department as an archivist and fell in love with her. Dude, love makes ya do crazy things. And once you fail 2 achieve the girl of your dreams, it takes you 2 an area you never thought existed. The Penguin literally came from the bottom up. It was Tony Montana earning his rightful place as a drugking.

Nope... only one Barry seen. The other Flash was a past ghost in the wrong timeline. Roy is missing. The season finale sent him away mysteriously getting back at Thea for doing the exact same thing last season. Sadly, he's off the show for the time being. Yeah, contract expiration. But... the door remains open to Team Arrow.

Netflix can push the envelope. Doing it on the big screen tarnishes Marvel's PG identity. Finally, Daredevil gets redemption from 03' mistake.

18 is a lot... but you can catch up. Okay, DC can drop the nuke warhead now. But... they better follow up correctly.

    Aw... I'll wait.

DLC is the root of all evil. Gamers lose... and companies win. I'm still pissed the F off about WWE 13. I bought the game four months ago and the servers are permanently down. So I can't buy AJ Lee and Mike Tyson...even if I wanted too. THAT'S BULL-CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh... so what excites you now? The Civil War? Sups vs Bats? Suicide Squad is gonna be a sleeper. You heard it from me.

YES, YES, YES, played out Daniel Bryan Yes chants!

Ant-Man has a higher percentage succeeding than F4. I talked about precise, smart casting and comic back-stories. F4 is completely off the grid. Whatever... I wasn't a wacky fan of it anyway. F4 is irrelevant 2 the Marvel book universe.

The Spectre is the Spirit of Vengeance... but he sidelines with the evil Superman to take over the world to protect it from itself. When Boston Brand AKA Deadman demands to speak to the spirit’s human host Jim Corrigan, the Spectre smiles viciously. Deadman realized it's too late. This isn’t his friend. Afterwards, the Spectre kills Deadman by slashing him with a supernatural sword. Before Deadman died, he returns to the Goddess Rama Kushna, a powerful feminine being who recruited him as her supernatural champion. She allows him to choose his successor and that would be Dick Grayson. Through Year 3, Dick was pretty much like a guardian angel 2 Batman. Plus, he tells Bruce 2 show ( dat bastard ) Damien mercy knowing Bruce wouldn't. Yeah, he's a wildcard for the next volumes.

I like the premise of the story and designs as well. Lots of new fans bitch about the lack of liberty in dealing with comics big guns. Well, Keith Giffen found a way here to use DC's hottest proprieties with complete freedom. It is the Justice League you know and love without it being the Justice League you know and love. Plus, they are vulnerable. The cloning process doesn't go totally right and the heroes wind up not having their full power sets. Plus, they've changed characteristically. Wonder Woman is psychopathic, the Flash is the same... but misses the friction aura, GL is just confused, Batman hates their freaking guts and yeah, I'm really starting to notice the constant theme of a douchey Superman. Injustice, New 52 and now these. The twist at the end of this book
also left me salivating and anxiously expecting the second volume.

''the ethical dilemma presented wasn’t quite as impactful on me though, they kind of cheapened life by saying that billions have already died. So what does it matter if a few individuals died to bring back heroes?'' Yes, very good posing question. Perhaps Keith wanted like a '' Walking Dead'' kinda of feel 2 the saga
where's it's a wasteland and only a few survivors are left surrounded by flawed superheroes. Some of the villains are boring and predictable. The entire conversations are essentially retconned or recycled between issues like Firestorm. Good God, Barry has the worst luck. And yes, the dialogue is very cliche. What kept ya hooked in my opinion... is the different complex versions of well established characters.

Really... cuz I never saw him as an insider. Guy is willing 2 cooperate and adapt. But why can't Gardner be the lone ranger? C'mon, you know as well as I do that they wouldn't let Guy reach that kinda power saving the JL members. Stewart edges out Kyle, barely.

Just by the 1st ep alone, Daredevil is here 2 stay. Man, this Daredevil is great. The backstory is compelling and the storyline is solid drama with good action scenes. Charlie Cox seems perfectly cast and should be a big star some day - he charisma jumps off the screen. The supporting cast is good too and it's nice to have Vincent D'Onofrio back on my television in any form. I guess having this show on Netflix has unshackled the writing and tone for this show while the other Marvel shows are too watered down for my taste. Netflix already renewed the series.

Hinata is just sweet and is a quiet soul. She never stirs up trouble and keeps to herself. She just reminds me of myself in a lot of ways, that's why I like her so much. What is Hiraishin no jutsu? I never watch sub, and they don't call the jutsus the same (for whatever reason) as they do in the dub version.
That is true, killing Kakashi off for good would have been overkill for the pain it would inflict on Naruto.
Yeah, I wanna prolong it. I haven't been watching for almost a week now. I think I may take a break for a while. I watched a whole lot in like a month. I know the manga has ended. Do you know if the anime is close to being done with all the events that happened in the manga?
I wanna see this Konan fight. Hopefully I'm close. Also, now I see how badass Kisame really is. I greatly underestimated him. I think he could have beaten Bee if he had wanted to. And Kabuto is back and is badass. That reanimation jutsu he has is dope! It's cool getting to see the old akasuki members.

I would. F**k the eyes lol.

Oh, is that what it is, the diamond? I noticed she shriveled up during the Pain arc. Oh well, as long as she keep that diamond intact we in business. That woman is gorgeous XD

    Lil Ray-Ray Jr.

    Mm hm

I know but it's like come ooooon, how do u not go check on her afterwards? She technically helped by helping naruto tap into the 9 tails power. When Naruto met his dad spiritually it was so badass. Lol, and he punched him in the chest. He had a point though. His childhood sucked because of the 9 tails. But I guess you should put more blame on the people for that. And OMG yes, if Kakashi had stayed dead I would've been depressed as hell. Jiraiya's death is still a little upsetting too. He could've got away but he didn't so he could discover Pain's secret. The fact that he managed to kill 4 out of 6 of them (even though 3 of them got revived, and the other one replaced) while walking into that battle totally unaware of what Pain really was is still just badass. When Naruto found out he was dead and he was mad at Tsunade like "If pervy sage was the hokage, he never would've let you go alone!" I really got the feels when he said that.

There is way too much filler. I still watch it because I know if I watched all the canon one's I'd still end up watching them anyway because I'd be like "i wanna watch more naruto!" Theres 1 website I use for reference that I look at pretty often to tell me when I'm watching canon vs filler episodes, jut for the heads up, but yeah, I skip nothing. Did u watch any of the filler? Do u read manga as well?

Konan fight? Like when she fought Jiraiya? That's like the only time I've really seen her do anything. Konan is the paper girl right?

Whaaaaat. All the Hyugas have those eyes. Do they all creep you out lol.

Yeah she's in her 50s. And? IDGAF she still look good lol.

  • Same here. Being busy, not getting to do much.

  • Whats up mate?
