I'm Ðαη Riaz, the guy you always see in the comment section. WELCOME TO MY PAGE!
About me: I like to think of myself as a leader not a follower, one who inspires others to be themselves. Its down to what you believe this site is about, you get characters here. But what are you? What would you call yourself? My message to you is to be yourself, be unique, make this site a better place. I believe the best people on this site give their own opinions and think for themselves. Contrary to what some believe, I'm not a troll, I'm not a hater, I'm not a God. I'm just an awesome person... jks :P Oh and also, I'm really defensive when it comes to my fans. DONT MESS WITH MY FANS.

Just a Story:
It started off as an idea, that BR could be something more than what it was. I remember looking up some of the older and more popular writers who had left the site. There seemed to be so much more to this place before I "officially" joined in the late winter of 2011. Some kind of close knit community that was always buzzing with new ideas and articles. I wondered what it would take to bring it all back.
It was a small goal initially. I never thought it would actually work. Back then the profile pages were near deserted. All the old and fun writers and readers had gone, except for a handful (and they didn't even talk to each other). Conversation was always limited to sport's topics, profile's were all the same (the same old information), there was this emptiness about this place. I just wondered, what if we changed it? I made an effort to do something, a half hearted one... but failed. So I gave up and just went back to reading articles and commenting like everyone else, fading into the grey.
Later on however, somewhere in 2012 I caught the attention of the most respected users on the site (who would later become good friends of mine). These were the remaining users I had mentioned earlier, who had remained here after their friends had left. I decided to give my idea another go. I wrote a small bio which was different to everyone else's, I pointed out things on the site that I had noticed... and that everyone could relate to (this grew over time), gradually I began meeting more and more people who took notice of me. These people were enthusiastic about my observations, and were keen on suggesting some of their own. Soon people started writing their own bio's, ones that were unique and different. I guess people realized they could express themselves, and then use it as a stepping stone to meet more people. Readers who would have shared interests, which would in turn open up more discussion. But then there was a boom.
It didn't happen right away, it was more like an accelerated process... or kind of like a snowball that was tumbling down a mountain. There were so many messages that were continuously flooding my board and inbox. I found myself talking to so many people at once, people who had noticed me in the comment sections on articles, people who just so happen to find my bio when browsing around. Some messaged more often than others, some I preferred talking to more than others. It felt like I was making new connections all the time. We were all personalities without faces, it didn't matter where we from, it didn't matter if we never saw each others faces (or never knew what most people looked like). This place was coming back to life, and it felt like it had happened overnight .Everyone was suddenly unique, everyone posted more about themselves, there were bio's created that were far more creative than my own.
I suppose the best part was... It felt like you couldn't leave it alone for a second, I remember every time I'd take a break for a few days/weeks , I would come back to around 60 messages from all these different people. All the friends I had made. Suddenly this page wasn't a profile anymore, it became the centre of something. Something that was bigger than me. Because they weren't just talking to me, they were talking to each other.
We had created something, a phenomenon we had called "The Circle". A rapidly expanding web of friendships, with new users popping up everywhere. Usually they would find my page and send me message, and then suddenly find my closest friends messaging them on their own page. Like I said there were some I spoke to more than others, some would message every hour, some every other week. It was all good fun :) There were competitions, award ceremonies, fictional shows, there was always something new.
There was always something going on, a running joke, or maybe the mini wars between users, the moments of drama and.... romance LOL. This was a time which I consider the peak of my time here at BR, and I think many would agree and would be more than happy to talk about it. Even the old legendary writers that were here before me, the ones I had just missed; had returned and were more than enthusiastic about the atmosphere.
So by now you're probably wondering what happened, where did it all end? Well... nothing lasts forever I suppose. At first it felt like it would never end, that we could keep it going forever. But we all began to realize that things were ending just as rapidly as they began. Some of the users we were closer to, the ones in the "Inner Circle" were beginning to leave for good, one by one. Things began to decline as soon as people started to realize that the website itself was not as perfect as we thought. There's an inconsistency in the way that users are punished, and there is no appeal process. Just 3 warnings and then a perma ban. One of our close friends fell victim to the inconsistencies of the system, and left forever. This started a chain of events which would cause members of the inner circle to gradually leave.
It got harder to say goodbye every time, and meeting new people would never feel the same. We always were looking to replace the people we lost, and it's unfair to try force that on others. We were trying to keep it all together, but it just fell apart. There were fewer and fewer messages coming in by the day, the quality in writing dipped in dramatic fashion, every day there was just a new reason to leave for good. Don't get me wrong though, some people were moving on to better things. College/University was the common one, but there were others too. Moving to a different country, getting married on Christmas day, new business ventures. Everyone was ready to write a new chapter in their lives, including myself.
In the rare times that I drop in, I find myself looking back to what things used to be like. All the memories that flood into my mind. I see small remnants of what used to be, there are some that are still here. But the vast majority are long gone. I still talk to a handful of these people now and again. Others I've not heard from. I like to think that they're all happy, that all those faceless personalities found what they were looking for in life. I know I have :) ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Hmm. Grimm and Death Note. Can't say I've heard of either show. What are they about? That psychics book sounds really cool though.
Have you been watching wrestling lately bro?
Chocolate or oatmeal cookies? Anyhoo, welcome back 2 the farcical glitch site of B/R.
Make dat 108... and a success story is banging Jennifer Lawrence or selling dope rising through criminal ranks of something. LOL XD!
Guardians of the Galaxy and Ant-Man are connecting the dots here. It's just setting up the Wars. Now the box office and the consumers... have been unpredictable lately. Ant-Man will draw. But it won't shatter records. Punisher, Daredevil and Blade are 2 dark for cinema. What I mean is... Marvel prefers lighter tone to their motion pictures. Ant-Man = fun humor.
Professor X taps the mind of the helpless... unwanted by the way. Perhaps I went too far. But X did pull a lot of jerk moves like shooting Hulk in space and disappearing when things got heated. F4 is genetic and uninteresting. The Human Touch is their coolest hero... and still doesn't reach out 2 a huge audience. An invisible hottie, a fiery douchebag, a stuck up stretchy ass scientist and a poor man's Hulk? Pass.
I've been against narration at the beginning. '' Long ago, there were 2 cowboys...'' SHUT THE HELL UP... and let the audience explore the movie. You can do it in so many forms... like Man of Steel. Netflix's Daredevil is the perfect example
of blending past with present sequences. Casuals don't care much for script. The name alone, effects and starpower draws old and new school fans. Of course, I give a damn about story, looking the part and character development. Agreed... the ones complaining the most about comic book adaptations are the minority. Hardcore readers cannot push companies 2 make any hero show and movie we want. Sure, we contributed to the millions / billions. But that's pocket money from us. The rip roaring successes of Iron Man and Batman trilogy opened up the Daredevil, Flash and WW possibilities. As for the Civil War direction? They'll likely aim for PG-13. Again... Marvel can do what they've been doing in the other Avengers movies. Just shout, attack ( no blood or gore ) and make deaths convenient. Cap suffers from the Superman problem despite being human.
He doesn't relate 2 them... and Tony is smarter, very calculating.
Yes, it's a novel masterpiece... and I love the 90s' feel 2 it. You should know as much as you can about... what you're publishing.
Honestly, I'm not sure where Maria Hill goes persona wise. She isn't a girl next door sweetheart tho.
Rousey dissed the holy crap out of WB making her case 2 be WW. As much as
I love me some Ronda... I respectably disagree. Can she fight, make a believable
ass kicker and get in ridiculous shape? F yeah! But... you got 2 have that '' look.'' If you do a side by side comparison, Gal beats out Ronda. With that being said, Gal shouldn't be WW.
Black Widow and Hawkeye would murder Ant-Man... even as separate movies. And only Hawkeye needs help unlike BW. She's played by the gorgeous Scarlett Johansson. It's great to humanize superheroes. Obviously, Fury, Hill, Barton and Natasha are the easiest. Opinion wise, this would have 2 be origin tales or... fighting super villains without Stark, Rogers, Hulk, etc. Now that would be intriguing.
It depends on ratings. Gotham was never meant 2 be a miniseries. So you gotta put that into consideration. The writers didn't wanna pull the trigger on Edward until the late season. Penguin taking over was inevitable. But that was meant 2 be a slow build. And I agree that the show started strong... but got weaker involving mediocre killers and a Joker tease. Also, why was Gordon only in Arkham for one ep? That was a joke. Season 2 will decide the future of the series. So, they will throw all these villains in our faces. They have 2. In my opinion, what guaranteed long term success was showcasing little scenes of the present day's James, Bruce, Bats, Selena, etc. We all know Bruce becomes Bats. So... what's the big deal? Were they afraid that whoever played Batman shreds Ben's version? Yeah, that punk ass Bruce hangs around. Orge deserved a longer stay. But the damage was already done 2 Barbaba. She's coo coo for cocoa puffs.
You mean a spinoff series or the plot itself for Flash? I mean, they can do it. Unfortunately, they'll have 2 insert their own Sups, Lantern and Cyborg. Contract dispute... it happens. The door is still nudged open for Roy. Gut feeling, they were never high up on him anyway.
2K16 for WWE... sucks. Besides, 2k15 was broken. And you're right about the roster. We're sitting at 150 wrestlers...but you can chalk dat up 2 DLC. What they don't tell you is that the big ass roster is a combination of NXT and random legends. I swear, the WWE don't even remember Rick Rude. Here's the real issues.. gameplay, career mode, universe mode and Caw mode. Are they fixed?
Arkham Knight has 2 much storage and GB requirements. Jesus, there use 2 be a time when all games were completed. I got the latest bug news. One has been discovered in Batman: Arkham Knight which doesn't allow players to finish the game unless they do all the Riddler's challenges. Wow, the game is more glitch-y than B/R.
So, you already got Bats vs Sups over Civil? Um... it's too early.
Look at the Marvel universe. C'mon, they are irrelevant. None of their movies do well. Sorry... but Ant-Man is more important by diving deep into the past, co-founding the Avengers. So... the movie itself will fill in the banks on ABC's Agent Carter. Plus, there's debatable ties 2 Captain America - Winter Soldier and show new villains at the end. Now, is the character himself important? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! So... F4 actually wins at something. LOL XD!
Oh, it's out... that's the Camelot War. Basically, JL3000 are different breeds of the heroes we grew up with... and that's pretty much it. They're all handicapped and opinion wise, you couldn't have a team member betray the other. Money was placed on Sups, Bats or WW. So, I enjoy the plot twist of Teri doing his own sister in. It's like an RKO... OUT OF NOWHERE!
For big screen proposes, Guy wouldn't get more recognizing if he's hanging with his boys Kyle, Stewart, etc. There's way 2 many personalities cracking jokes as it is. Guy could scoop in and bust some. We can definitely agree that John S is too military... and Hal is a non fan favorite. Well, isn't that why we included Kyle, the artistic genius? We already got Flash for slapstick. And if we're going by GL corps, Guy steals the movie by acting out alone and appearing at imperil times... thereby establishing himself as the anti-Lantern. He can still have that bad boy persona... but does it have 2 always be team work consistently? We have the JL, Avengers and F4. Guy can match the best and take over at will. Again, you can do that outside the box. They really don't need Guy for charisma. When things look bleak, that's the moment Gardner peaks in 2 provide comfort and punchlines as the strongest ( next 2 Sups and WW ). Actually, what shapes things up is changing the dynamic. Just because you're apart of a team... doesn't mean you have 2 stick around all the time. '' Call me when you really freaking need me.'' I was considering Batman for this... 4 obvious reasons. But he's already hip and great.
Daredevil is undoubtedly... the best crafted superhero TV series ever. Sure, something will beat it down the road. As for right now, Daredevil sits on the throne in terms of choreography, gritty content, confrontations, motives and street adventure. None of the eps felt like filler at all. They needed the first two eps to build up Daredevil and Foggy / Murdock's law firm. We had 2 know more about Ben Urich from those episodes, Kingpin had 2 be introduced and examined and the thing that lead 2 Foggy's outbursts. Plus, Daredevil's struggle 2 avoid killing, etc. I basically ripped apart Forbes.com for stating that Daredevil is OVERRATED. ( that's over on Matt Murdock's user page... below ). There's nothing wrong with the damn suit. They made it darker and less shiny. But... I'm gonna miss the black standards pants, mask and Steve Austin boots. LOL XD!
Yes... I do. That's the curse of being a DC addict. Inspired by the R, teenagers become vigilantes ( kinda like Kick ASS ) all embracing the identity of Robin. If you're familiar with Duke Thomas, he's the focal point of the comics creating the youth movement of heroes fighting a-holes in Gotham.
One catchphrase... YATTA!!!!
Thanks man. They come out every once in a while. IDK when I'll ever put the final nail in the coffin for good on the Reel. Thanks! That TwO promo is one of my favorites that I've done. I really like the newly invented 4-man finisher.
The court promo was really just to be all fun and games. I didn't really expect anyone to think they he really would get sued/fired, especially considering he's already left and come back before. That would've been overkill. Matt wrote that tremendous promo. All I did was tell him a few things that were supposed to happen, but it was all Matt.
Dude those contract things actually exist lol. IDK if WWE uses them but they are used in certain places so you can't sue them. Like there was this haunted house thing I know of where they'd make you sign a wavier so if you hurt yourself from getting scared or something you couldn't sue them. That's somewhat of an extreme case of it being used, but those things actually do exist.
True, Armin did sign up for it, but how many soldiers have we seen that are complete cowards in this series? We've had people hiding in buildings and shit. Jean changed but he was pretty cowardly in the beginning too.
"Thing is, the people that go out of their way to dismiss someone else by calling them “nerdy” are the same people that go out to the cinemas to watch Avengers 2 and Iron Man 3. "
OMG, THIS! ^^^^^^^^ I've thought about that plenty of times. If you can sit down and watch super hero movies, sci-fi, Lord of the Rings, etc., you can't degrade anime fans or just say anime is stupid in general. It's hypocritical in a sense.
They have an AoT THEME PARK? WHERE!?!?!?!?!?!????
Lol, f**k Samehada. It can be a chakra junkie if it wants to. Bee is my n**ga.
I only saw a few episodes from the save Rukia arc. I remember Ichigo beating Renji, and I think he was about to fight either Kenny or Rukia's brother. I just feel like these guys are stronger than Ichigo, but of course he must've won those fights. 1 thing I really hate about a lot of shows is how the main character just jumps leaps and bounds and leaves everyone else in the dust when it comes to combat skills.
Tell me, what r ur top 5 anime?
Nothing much, just enjoying summer. I started golfing and I'm through the 4th season of TWD now. Nothing else of note I guess. What you been doing?
XDXDXDXDXD I think u were the 1st one to tell me about what's app. I don't have a smartphone tho.
Lol @ u breaking around the same part. I think its cool how Samehada became a chakra junkie and went over to Bee lol.
Yeah, 2016 for season 2 =/.
Armin's just not a good fighter, plain and simple. He's a strategist. He should have some other important job than just being a scout. And just like you mentioned, the realism of his character is what gets me. He reminds me of myself in a lot of ways, not being confident and stuff. Everyone just can't have all their shit together.
Agreed. We need more strong females instead of the classic "damsel in distress." It is a refreshing change indeed. Lol, how can you not love Sasha.
Wise words Dan, wise words. This has become me go to anime for recommendations as well, followed by Death Note. Lol, I saw the movie trailer a few days ago. I thought it looked cool, but they will probably mess some stuff up, because what movie doesn't mess some stuff up?
Lol, I'm on anime mode man. I've watched about half of Bleach. Its good but inconsistent. Has just as much filler as Naruto, and the first season was a really weak start for the show IMO. It wasn't till they went to go save Rukia that it really got good, and that's 20+ episodes in. I didn't start watching till the 5th season where I think you are first introduced to the arancar. Grimmjow is my fave bleach character. Him vs Ichigo is a top 5 anime battle for me. It was epic. I stopped watching sometime during all the filler they had in between the espada stuff that happened. And then after that I just didn't care about the show anymore really. Aizen was the shit. I know there's this guy named Ginjo who's like that final bad guy of the show, idr what that arc was all about though. Tell me, how strong is Ichigo? I mean he couldn't beat like Head Captain Gammamoto right? What about Kenny?
Hunter Hunter is on my watchlist. I'll probably add Hellsing as well. I see Kill La Kill come on toonami but never sat down to watch it.
Dang, u like him that much? I didn't think u liked any anime character as much as Kakahi lol. What show is it?
Ah we'll agree to disagree :) The happily ever after ending was too predictable for me and I really wanted to see an epic battle between Sasuke and Naruto. I get what you're saying, I just like my depressing endings haha. I'm happy Naruto became hokage, it was great to see him finally achieve his dream and everything, just the ending didn't click for me or seem right, I expected to get really emotional but I didn't. Aww thinking back to when I first started watching Naruto brings back so many memories, I was kid when I started watching and I've been watching it for years since. It's sad that it's ended but I guess they'll make a new anime following the children. Are you reading the follow up manga? It feels a bit weird to me, following the kids and not Naruto. I'll never say goodbye to Naruto, as geeky as this sounds, I go to the anime conventions in London and buy the new box set Naruto DVDs so I can constantly re-watch them XD
I liked Kakashi, wasn't my favourite but he was pretty awesome, especially when it came to the war. His battle with Kakazu and Hidan was when he first started to really impress me, I thought he was okay before, funny character but that fight was awesome. Madara is my favourite character hands down, he's so epic oh my god, but the fact that he pretty much died and became a woman traumatised me XD Ah I agree with that, they didn't really introduce that many powers for him, he kinda just kept to the sharigan which is fine but this guy has so much more to give. I really liked Pein, I didn't want him to die, one of my favourite characters.
Well your kinda in the middle of the anime now, I understand school stress, just finished my A Levels and now enjoying the holidays XD
I live in a small town called Beckenham, you a Londoner too?
Lol. Dat language XD
I'm actually taking a break from Naruto. I haven't watched it in a month (stopped at episode 228). Stopped during some horrendous filler. But I don't skip anything, so when I get back to it, I'll finish it up. Right now Naruto is about to go to the land of...wherever the Raikiage is, and meet Bee, because the legendary frog was like "You're going to meet an Octopus." I see now why u said Kisame is really strong. I think he could've beat Bee if he tried.
Lolll, Mox actually surpassed me yesterday by watch 8 episodes, he was 1 OVA ahead of me. IDK if watched the last 2 today, but I did. You've gotta watch those OVAs bro. I heard you're a Levi fan, so you'll definitely enjoy the last 2 especially. You know there are 2 recap episodes on the sub version you can watch? I only watched 1 episode and the OVAs in sub (didn't have a choice for the OVAs), and I noticed there was like an episode 13.5 or something, and in the comments, people were like "recap, skip these). So yeah, I recommend just watching the recaps, unless you just wanna watch the whole series again because it's just that damn good (10/10).
I hope Mox didn't look up spoilers. If he did, I don't wanna hear anything from it lol. Another B/R user (Veteran Advice) has been watching as well. He mentioned a pretty good theory on my board today if u wanna check it out. My #1 prediction is that Jean dies in season 2, probably in a sad way in front of Eren or something. He's just one of those characters I see the creator going "I'll kill him off for the feels because people actually like this guy now." My top 5 characters in order are Mikasa, Levi, Eren, Armin, and Sasha.
2 weeks ago I watched Death Note (10/10 as well, but I like Attack on Titan a lil better), and like a month ago I watch Black Lagoon (well, I still have 2 OVAs left that I plan to watch tomorrow). Next up is Cowboy Bebop. Others I plan to watch soon are Samurai Champloo, Sword Art Online, Soul Eater, and Fairy Tail will be the next long anime series I watch. There's still literally a dozen other shows I didn't just mention that I wanna watch. I'm really in an anime mode right now, hehe. I probably won't get back into naruto until I go back to school in August. And what show is the guy from ur profile pic from again, and what's his name?
~~~▄▄██▌█ OH MY GAWD!!!!!!!!
▄▄▄▌▐██▌█ Dude, nice to see you back :)
Personally for me, it would have made a better ending for Sasuke and Naruto to die together. The whole anime was about them two, and their friendship and their bond, it would have made a much more rememberable ending if they had died. It would have been emotional and an ending I would never forget, completely unpredictable and a huge twist. Instead the ending was rushed. Plus, we were never given that big Sasuke vs Naruto fight that we were promised early on, I was waiting for that and to find out it didn't even happen was disappointing. Best endings for me are the ones that bring out such strong emotions in a person and to have them both die would have had me balling out my eyes XD
Oh you're a Kakashi fanboy? It would have been pretty cool to see him rule the village, but like I said earlier, the ending just seemed too rushed and theres a lot that they could have included but didn't. It's still my favourite anime/manga though.
I guess it became more about Light's ego and how he knew he had the power to take lives and abused it. I never agreed with what he did but I can understand why he did what he did at the beginning. He was a really interesting character to watch as he evolved through the anime. I guess you've finished the anime now, did you like the ending?
I live in London, full of noise, pollution, posh snobs and overpopulation but I love it XD
Haha I liked Light, I find psychopaths and criminals in general interesting to learn about so maybe thats why I found him intriguing.
