I'm Ðαη Riaz, the guy you always see in the comment section. WELCOME TO MY PAGE!
About me: I like to think of myself as a leader not a follower, one who inspires others to be themselves. Its down to what you believe this site is about, you get characters here. But what are you? What would you call yourself? My message to you is to be yourself, be unique, make this site a better place. I believe the best people on this site give their own opinions and think for themselves. Contrary to what some believe, I'm not a troll, I'm not a hater, I'm not a God. I'm just an awesome person... jks :P Oh and also, I'm really defensive when it comes to my fans. DONT MESS WITH MY FANS.

Just a Story:
It started off as an idea, that BR could be something more than what it was. I remember looking up some of the older and more popular writers who had left the site. There seemed to be so much more to this place before I "officially" joined in the late winter of 2011. Some kind of close knit community that was always buzzing with new ideas and articles. I wondered what it would take to bring it all back.
It was a small goal initially. I never thought it would actually work. Back then the profile pages were near deserted. All the old and fun writers and readers had gone, except for a handful (and they didn't even talk to each other). Conversation was always limited to sport's topics, profile's were all the same (the same old information), there was this emptiness about this place. I just wondered, what if we changed it? I made an effort to do something, a half hearted one... but failed. So I gave up and just went back to reading articles and commenting like everyone else, fading into the grey.
Later on however, somewhere in 2012 I caught the attention of the most respected users on the site (who would later become good friends of mine). These were the remaining users I had mentioned earlier, who had remained here after their friends had left. I decided to give my idea another go. I wrote a small bio which was different to everyone else's, I pointed out things on the site that I had noticed... and that everyone could relate to (this grew over time), gradually I began meeting more and more people who took notice of me. These people were enthusiastic about my observations, and were keen on suggesting some of their own. Soon people started writing their own bio's, ones that were unique and different. I guess people realized they could express themselves, and then use it as a stepping stone to meet more people. Readers who would have shared interests, which would in turn open up more discussion. But then there was a boom.
It didn't happen right away, it was more like an accelerated process... or kind of like a snowball that was tumbling down a mountain. There were so many messages that were continuously flooding my board and inbox. I found myself talking to so many people at once, people who had noticed me in the comment sections on articles, people who just so happen to find my bio when browsing around. Some messaged more often than others, some I preferred talking to more than others. It felt like I was making new connections all the time. We were all personalities without faces, it didn't matter where we from, it didn't matter if we never saw each others faces (or never knew what most people looked like). This place was coming back to life, and it felt like it had happened overnight .Everyone was suddenly unique, everyone posted more about themselves, there were bio's created that were far more creative than my own.
I suppose the best part was... It felt like you couldn't leave it alone for a second, I remember every time I'd take a break for a few days/weeks , I would come back to around 60 messages from all these different people. All the friends I had made. Suddenly this page wasn't a profile anymore, it became the centre of something. Something that was bigger than me. Because they weren't just talking to me, they were talking to each other.
We had created something, a phenomenon we had called "The Circle". A rapidly expanding web of friendships, with new users popping up everywhere. Usually they would find my page and send me message, and then suddenly find my closest friends messaging them on their own page. Like I said there were some I spoke to more than others, some would message every hour, some every other week. It was all good fun :) There were competitions, award ceremonies, fictional shows, there was always something new.
There was always something going on, a running joke, or maybe the mini wars between users, the moments of drama and.... romance LOL. This was a time which I consider the peak of my time here at BR, and I think many would agree and would be more than happy to talk about it. Even the old legendary writers that were here before me, the ones I had just missed; had returned and were more than enthusiastic about the atmosphere.
So by now you're probably wondering what happened, where did it all end? Well... nothing lasts forever I suppose. At first it felt like it would never end, that we could keep it going forever. But we all began to realize that things were ending just as rapidly as they began. Some of the users we were closer to, the ones in the "Inner Circle" were beginning to leave for good, one by one. Things began to decline as soon as people started to realize that the website itself was not as perfect as we thought. There's an inconsistency in the way that users are punished, and there is no appeal process. Just 3 warnings and then a perma ban. One of our close friends fell victim to the inconsistencies of the system, and left forever. This started a chain of events which would cause members of the inner circle to gradually leave.
It got harder to say goodbye every time, and meeting new people would never feel the same. We always were looking to replace the people we lost, and it's unfair to try force that on others. We were trying to keep it all together, but it just fell apart. There were fewer and fewer messages coming in by the day, the quality in writing dipped in dramatic fashion, every day there was just a new reason to leave for good. Don't get me wrong though, some people were moving on to better things. College/University was the common one, but there were others too. Moving to a different country, getting married on Christmas day, new business ventures. Everyone was ready to write a new chapter in their lives, including myself.
In the rare times that I drop in, I find myself looking back to what things used to be like. All the memories that flood into my mind. I see small remnants of what used to be, there are some that are still here. But the vast majority are long gone. I still talk to a handful of these people now and again. Others I've not heard from. I like to think that they're all happy, that all those faceless personalities found what they were looking for in life. I know I have :) ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

I just got to this amazing site not long ago. I was actually captured with the piece of resources you have got here. Big thumbs up for making such wonderful blog page! Low Price sectional sofas
It must feels good to have the bio section back (not my case apparently). So what's up??
For some reason, I thought it was someone out of Katekyo Hitman Reborn. What other animes do you watch? XD
Well I am 2/4 now and nothing's been spoiled for me so far. I just hope the pace picks up a bit from now on. So far best thing for me this season has happened in ep.2 on The Wall ;)
No arguments from me. I would prefer 2 know what's going on 24/7.
The disadvantage of Dr. Strange is the level of popularity. Unlike Dr. Fate, Strange is actually a real doctor. Originally, Strange was a gifted neurosurgeon... but he selfishly put money over health. A car accident affected the nerves in the hands. Instead of re-positioning himself, he decided to find ways 2 achieve 100% physical ability. This lead Strange to the Himalayas asking help from ''The Ancient One''' - an unknown hermit. Strange wasn't worthy, but he thwarts an assassination plan on the elderly sorcerer from his apprentice. So, the ancient one awarded Strange with the knowledge of mystical arts. A new journey and lessons gave Dr. Strange direction and that stopped his attempts to heal his own hands. The completed training sessions made him earth’s newest sorcerer. In short summary, Strange went from surgeon 2 sorcerer. And it's very tough to be more important and ultra popular than Cap and Iron Man. The Civil War is launched because of them.
There, ya nailed it. Tony Stark is truly an outsider looking in. Besides, if Stark was the smiley faced poster-boy, the fans would start 2 hate the new Iron Man. The readers can chose a side. When it comes down 2 good and evil, those are the only choices on the board. Each mutant side presents valid points. Magneto ( just like mortal Lex Luthor ) knows that aliens / mutants will never really be accepted by earthlings. If they bow to your feet, it's mostly out of fear. Dr. X realizes that wars
don't make situations any better. Firing attacks at a helpless race further proves their point that mutants are dangerous and belongs somewhere else. Following the comics is not the same as witnessing movie adaptions. The character comes 2 life regarding the actor / actress. Robert Downey Jr. was born 2 be Tony Stark. Chris Hemsworth excels as Thor. Marvel delivered 2 grand slams back 2 back. The last Avengers movie actually pushed Black Widow. Again, Marvel found the right hottie to portray her. Iron Man will always trump Cap.
Girls / Women have 2 be fans of comics during youth. Getting them hooked now is extremely difficult because they usually found other loves. Men with chiseled abs and da looks is theater. It doesn't have the same feel cruising through the comics. Yeah, I have yet to meet, date or even bang a girl enjoying superheroes or even superheroines. They were the types digging Madea flicks and cornball comedies. Wow, she liked Elektra which means, there's casual women and hardcore chicks that could gravitate 2 live action superheroines on the big screen. Right now, it can only be Black Widow ( Scarlett Johansson ) WW ( Gal Gadot ) Supergirl ( Amber Heard ) and Powergirl ( Kate Upton ).
Constantine is wasted potential and has a rough time dealing with Grimm. My TV
order is Flash, Arrow, Gotham and Shield. Opinion wise, Gotham has dragged... and they're saving the juicy stuff probably for season 2. It definitely making it look like James Gordon had no chance of ever saving Gotham from Fish and upcoming villains. The Ogre needs time 2 grow and it looks like he's straight up going '' Fifty shades of grey'' tonight, slashing style. I say the Flash series is owning Arrow... which ironically set up the spin off. Roy is a sidekick. So, were you really expecting him 2 outshine Oliver? Felicity is my favorite of the series blowing everyone away
with her sense of humor, wits and heart. I can do... without Ray Palmer. And the entire mid season build up was Ra Al Ghul vs The Green Arrow 2.
One of these days, I'll have to check out Daredevil on Netflix. Some say it demolishes Arrow. So, I'm curious.
I saw the anticipated trailer days ago. Alright, this is just me... but Henry's Superman deserved his own sequel solo. They pulled the trigger on Sups vs Bats
way too fast. My version of Man of Steel 2... is Sups vs Lex Luthor, Metallo and Toyman. The story can still take place after the 1st film as humanity voices their public opinions about the polarizing God... or should I say '' false God.'' As for the trailer itself, this does seem like Lex is pulling the strings and Batman completely turned off by dictatorship. I won't crap on this crossover movie yet. Sounds like the Riddler is in too.
I got nothing positive 2 say about Fantastic Four. Seriously, I was never a fan. Ant-man looks more interesting than this. The acting cast is mediocre and definitely unknown. Maybe, this can launch new stars. But when Michael B Jordan is your biggest star, there's a problem. And there's been too many changes. So, you're telling me, the cosmic storm doesn't alter their DNA and turns them into heroes? Oh, it's a lab experiment gone wrong like Bruce Banner. Now, they gotta adjust to their super abilities. God, this sounds like a sequel 2 Chronicle.
Shazam was never da same after the copyrighted name change. It doesn't help that he is unpopular. Perhaps the similarities to Sups has done more harm than good.
Sups dating WW was simply for shock value. Well, I was shocked how bad their chemistry was. There's no intimacy, no nuance or romance. It's basically '' Hey, I'm hot and your hot. Plus, we came from different worlds. Oh, you're strong and perfect too? Nobody understands us? Let's have super sex!'' - What???? At this point, I would rather see Clark with Lana.
Dan, I agreed. Holy crap, there's just so much you can do with da GL corps. C'mon, they explore the universe colliding with intergalactic beings. The possibilities are
endless. So far, none of the authors, writers and artists are truly apart of the movies' processes. Going 2 to the source and da creators is common sense. Apparently, Hollywood loves mediocrity and given their bs take on the greatest heroes ever. A reboot depends on the mighty success of Sups vs Bats. One movie decides everything.
Sorry, I'm not crazy about Game of Thrones. But... when I finish Walking Dead season 5, Breaking Bad and Power, I'll see what's so nerdy awesome about G-O-T.
The 100 is like this era's... Lost. The plot is very good... but it hasn't suckered me in yet.
Yikes, I posted on the wrong board. Am I sleep-typing?
And coincidentally, it all started when FWP Jr. called me out over some BS involving you. This is quickly becoming irrelevant. Let's just move on.
Cool picture though! What anime is he from?
hahaha I am trying not to rush, I mean if i were to watch all of them at once I would have to wait for like a month for the next available episode...
LOL no idea... but who cares?
How many of the leaked GoT eps have you watched yet? :'D
