Rael's Bio
I am a born and raised San Franciscan (temporarily located in San Diego for educational purposes) and a lifelong Giants fan. I also root for the Niners and Warriors but I bleed orange and black. I was at two of the three World Series games at Pac Bell in 2002 and have seen many of Barry Bonds' home runs sail into McCovey cove. After I graduate from UC San Diego in June 2008, I will be looking for a position in sports media, either in print or broadcast journalism. I hope you enjoy my take on the Giants and anything else in sports and always feel free to offer your appreciation for or irritation with my writing.

Fresno might still be a little tough for Zito. Might want to try Single A San Jose.

Yup, it's good to see the Merk finally contribute at the big league level after all those years of promise. The Russ Ortiz trade finally pays off!

Word, Farolito is great. I'll have to make it to Cancun soon. Know any good places near AT&T Park? Our office is right around the corner, but the best I've been able to find is Victor's on Townsend....good, not great.

How's it going man? I grew up in the South Bay around San Jose and then moved up the peninsula to Menlo Park. However, my true love for burritos came during six years in L.A. There's a lot of good spots down in SoCal, however my favorite has to be La Taquiza at 30th and Figueroa near USC campus.
In SF, I have to say I've still got a lot of burrito ground to cover but I'm making my way. Still, for my money hands down the best is El Farolito at 23rd and Mission. Haven't been to Taqueria Cancun, but I'll have to check it out stat.
