Fear Not Lakers' Fans: This One's Going to Seven
06/12/2008
I'm Chad Ridgeway and I'm an NBA addict. I've been addicted my entire life and have been actively covering sports and working in all types of media for over a decade. In the late 90's I ran a website called "The NBA Underground" which became a top 20 most visited sports-related website on the internet. I follow the NBA constantly and in addition to writing my own original articles I also moderate the NBA Rapidfire Report.

Hey Chad—Dave Mo here, a Bleacher Report Community Coordinator.
I've been spending time on our Lakers page and read a couple of your old articles. Really on-point analysis...you do good work.
Given that you haven't written in a while, I thought I'd check in and see if you're interested in picking up your coverage again. What do you say?
If not, it would be great if you could give me some feedback on why you decided to stop writing and what we could have done to better serve you. If you wouldn't mind, please shoot me a line at dmorrison@bleacherreport.com with any thoughts.
Thanks so much,
Dave Mo

I actually find him to be rather smart and accurate on sport topics but with this one he is way off!
Thanks for reading and commenting on the article by the way.

Chad-
I didn't see your note on my page about the roundtable until today. I don't know why but I never got the email alert when you left the note. I can't say my ego wasn't bruised when I saw the roundtable headline and wasn't included. I feel better now.
I didn't want you to think I ignored you.

No sweat. Sorry I haven't sent the answers to the questions yet, but I've been SUPER busy with school. If I can still turn them in, I'll shoot them to ya Friday.

DeleteI am surprised by the number of people who actually want to reserve the right to bad-mouth their teams! I offer constructive criticism, of course, but one in particular wants to be able to say, "they suck," if they do.
I don't get it. Will YOU take the pledge?
