Jake's Bio

I am a Freshman at Joliet Junior College. I write for the school newspaper as a sportswriter. I can watch and write about any sports but my favorites are football, basketball, and baseball. The teams at my school are among the top in the country for Junior Colleges so it is always fun to write about good teams, it makes things more interesting.

  1. Hey Jake,

Check out this new story which highlights Dominic Rhodes interview with Toronto's The Fan 590 this morning:

  2. Hey Jake—Dave Mo here, a Bleacher Report Community Coordinator.

I've been spending time on our Bills page and read a couple of your old articles. Really on-point analysis...you do good work.

Given that you haven't written in a while, I thought I'd check in and see if you're interested in picking up your coverage again. What do you say?

If not, it would be great if you could give me some feedback on why you decided to stop writing and what we could have done to better serve you. If you wouldn't mind, please shoot me a line at dmorrison@bleacherreport.com with any thoughts.

    Thanks so much,

    Dave Mo

  7. Buffalo, Morgantown, Durham, and Chicago? How the heck did you pick out all those locations? haha

  8. I'm probably just going to list four or five questions for you to answer about the team. I was going to ask for your e-mail, but you're already ahead of me on that...

Expect a message in your box Sunday night. I'm going to try to put it up Monday at the earliest.

  9. Hey Jake--

I'm trying to get some Sox fans together here on BR to do a little roundtable after the Detroit series, and I'd love for you to be a part of it. Shoot me a message back if you're interested and I'll let you know the details.

  13. Jake,

"Best, RA" = "Best, Ryan Alberti". I get sick of seeing my own name over and over...hence the abbreviation. Sorry for the confusion, and thanks again for sharing your work.

    Ryan

  14. Thanks for the encouragement, Jake!

  15. Glad I could help, Jacob. Keep the good stuff coming...

    RA
