My name is Zachary Petersel. Born and raised in New York, one would have assumed I would have had a favorite team win a championship by now...NOPE. Rooting for the Mets, Islanders and Knicks has never been harder, but it just makes me love it even more. When that championship finally comes, I can't even imagine what I am going to do
Besides sports, I was born and raised in New York and graduated from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business with a finance degree in 2011.
I follow all sports with a passion, or maybe everything outside of Women's Water Polo. Hope you like some of my stuff, thanks for checking it out. Follow me on Twitter @ZPetersel
Zachary, I love your "All Time Sports Moment" Bill Buckner. October 25, 1986. Game 6. Me a diehard Red Sox fan is getting ready to celebrate. One strike away, and then, the apocalyptic moment in Baseball History happens. I can remember the food that I was eating, the brand of beer that I was drinking, the make, size and model of the TV I was watching it on and exactly where I was sitting when the travesty unfolded. Kind of like asking an older person where he / she was when Kennedy was assassinated. I was only 15 months old so I don't remember. If you have ever watched Ken Burns' Baseball Documentary, listen to Bob Costas explain what he was doing when it happened as he was in the Red Sox clubhouse. You will laugh. Finally, Yogi Berra said it best of all. "It ain't over 'til it's over !!"
