About

I was born and raised in southeast Kentucky, Lynch to be exact. My wife Katie and I have been married for 11 years and we have a 4 year old son, Micah, and newborn son Chandler. I live outside Knoxville, Tennessee now, but there's nothing orange about me!!

I started writing in October 2010 on my blog, http://hardyboysportsblog.com/. Since then I've had the privilege of being a freelance sports correspondent for The John Boy & Billy Big Show where my blog was featured on their site during the 2011 Final Four.

It's been my privilege to be able to work with The John Boy & Billy Big Show's Emmy Award winning Media & Sports Consultant Terry Hanson. I've also made guest host appearances on Blog Talk Radio's The Bottom Line Sports Show with Gerald Brown, Sports180 on The Sports Animal here in Knoxville with Will West and The Batchelor Pad Show with LA Batchelor and Tony McClean.

Thanks in advance to all who come by and read what's written here. Special thanks again to Will West, Terry Hanson, Michael Tillery, and Vin Getz for helping me get to this point. Looking forward to seeing what comes next.

More columns on the Rox please. They're great addictive stuff! As a Canadian I am hardwired to be a major Steve Nash fan....but you know....with the Lakers an'all...

So, I am just lovin' what the Rox are doing lately instead, especially with such a young team and with sooo much upside it's dizzying nose bleed...stuff of legends.

    Thanks

with the way asik is playing in the preseason, do you think the bulls regret letting asik go for nothing, when they could have had courtney lee or kevin martin?

Howdy Vinny. This is Curtis from the Houston Rockets. I meant to send a message last night but got busy. Please if you make it to Houston then please send a message and let me know the dates. I will try to be home during that time and we can meet up for good food and drink.

The Rockets are going to be fun to watch.

To your Marshall/WVU question, it has a very simple answer.

I root for both the Thundering Herd and Mountaineers when they play but when they play each other during football or basketball season, I root for West Virginia.

Trust me, I've been asked your same question countless times over the years lol.
